Disappointing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had really high hopes for this speaker, I was really excited to be able to fall in love with the audio quality because it’s Apple its supposed to be great right? Not so much. Its a very MEDIOCRE speaker nothing to be blown away by at all. What I do like about it, is how iconic it is. The classic red is beautiful and they did a great job cosmetically. But after nearly a decade they should’ve OVER delivered on the sound quality. Instead they UNDER delivered. Im trying really hard to like it so I dont have to return it cause it looks great, and an apple ecosystem portable speaker is invaluable. Perhaps my expectations were set to high :/. If staying within the apple ecosystem is what you want, then get it. If not, get a bose, sony, or even a JBL.
