Great bass that balances well with highs and mids, very powerful sound for the size of the speaker, idk how apple does it but other speakers around the same size are NOWHERE near as powerful.

Struggles to connect to new items at times and struggles to remain connected when it finally finds the new item. However, when it is working properly, great speaker.

Accidentally turned it on and was amazed at the sound. Got it at Best Buy for a gift on sale. What a good solid speaker with nice bass ! Sounds better than my Bose revolve for sure. Worth it for sure at the sale price !

It’s not super crisp sounding and it’s lacking the bass it could have and should have had! So I was a bit disappointed with this speaker for that reason. But overall it’s a good little portable speaker. I just wish it was as amazing as the XL was.
