Unknown
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I dislike the lack of a carry case . I also dislike the way the sound sounds and this is based on someone who owns an original beats pill. Maybe the newer versions are okay though

Not impressed by speaker, Love there headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not impressed, almost all my headphones are Beats, so I thought I would move from JBL portable speakers to this new Beats speaker. but it did not play anything close to loud and the music quality was ok. Definitely was not impressed by music quality and volume, the physical quality built looks very good. Returned the next day and got a Flip 6

Do not recommend
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nearly a year from purchase, this speaker barely holds a battery charge, and when it does charge it takes forever to get to 100% and also dies extremely fast and doesn’t even let you turn it on immediately while plugged in. I would honestly not recommend it at all. Luckily I have a JBL clip 4 that can hold me over til I can get a real speaker but I will not be buying a beats pill when I do that’s for sure. There is only 2 saving graces IMO 1. Quick connect with Apple iPhones 2. Bluetooth range is great

Battery Dead 7months after purchase
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These should be recalled because many are having batteries die just like the XL model. Mine only works plugged in now( have only had for 7 months). Its also not as loud as it was when i bought it. I would give 0 stars, much better options available. Very dissapointed

Good sound - Terrible connection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the speaker to use in my classroom and struggle to get it to connect to my computer every time I use it. It might even connect, but then the connection drops. Many times, it connects to student devices instead of my device and I have no way to control it or prevent that from happening.

Garbage pills
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They sound pretty terrible. They're not worth the price. I don't recommend people buying them. You should purchase the JBL instead. Sound much better.

Quick setup - great performance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Within minutes of opening the box I connected the Pill to my Android phone via Bluetooth and had music playing. The sound is excellent with enough bass while maintaining clarity in highs and mids. A very pleasant overall sound which is what I would expect. The source was Spotify and Sirius/XM streaming and the genre ranged from Afro Cuban Jazz to Sinatra and light Jazz. There was more than enough volume. Spoken voice via Podcasts was also excellent. The single USB-C port has three functions. 1. Charge the Pill, 2. Charge another device-in this case it was my Android phone and 3. Direct connection to my Windows 11 laptop. ON the laptop it appeared as a speaker and I was able to select it and stream Radio Swiss Jazz without any issue or fuss. This is also the way I could stream lossless,FLAC or AAC audio but I have no subscription for those formats. I was streaming music on my phone and received a phone call. All I had to do was press the multi-function button on the Pill to answer. Audio was clear for me and the calling party. The music is paused during the call. There is an Android ( and I suspect an IOS ) APP which allowed me to manage a few options. This is also the way to add a second speaker or share the speaker with another phone. The APP is not really needed for daily use. It has limited functionally . The Battery status is displayed when connected via BT on my Android phone. A USB-C to USB-C is included but no power brick. I am very pleased with the sound and versatility of the Pill and would recommend to friends and family.
