This is my first Beats and may be the last. I was hoping that this would be better than my JBL Flip 6 due to the "Beats" brand, but I was dead wrong. There's no way to turn up the bass level even through the app. This is so disappointing coming from a software company (Apple). The only good thing about this speaker is the supposed 24-hour play time (which is probably going to be half if you actually use it for that long).

Now obviously this depends on where you use this speaker and for me I work in a big open mechanic shop so it’s alot of open space. At full volume this speaker just doesnt cut it. Maybe this will be a great product for you if you’re using this in your house or a small office but outside I’m not so sure you’ll be satisfied with the volume. Now I had a Bose soundlink flex gen 2 thinking the battery life was really short but after exchanging it for a beats pill I can definitely say this speaker doesnt last long at all. Now I don’t think it’s horrible but for this price you can the Sony xg300 for the same retail price as a pill.

I had really high hopes for this speaker, I was really excited to be able to fall in love with the audio quality because it’s Apple its supposed to be great right? Not so much. Its a very MEDIOCRE speaker nothing to be blown away by at all. What I do like about it, is how iconic it is. The classic red is beautiful and they did a great job cosmetically. But after nearly a decade they should’ve OVER delivered on the sound quality. Instead they UNDER delivered. Im trying really hard to like it so I dont have to return it cause it looks great, and an apple ecosystem portable speaker is invaluable. Perhaps my expectations were set to high :/. If staying within the apple ecosystem is what you want, then get it. If not, get a bose, sony, or even a JBL.

Totally such a good purchase. Highly recommend to buy.

Good maybe great high and mid but Little to no bass. I was hoping for just a bit more bass

I saw that beats pill was on sale for 50$ but yo show 149$ I want the 50$ one
