Love these beats! They don't mess up my hair. The hooks prevent them from falling. Sound is amazing!!

I bought them today. I read all the reviews and I felt like I should still try them! They are a little pricey, but did they shake my brain when I played "John" or what! These are the greatest headphones I have ever heard.

*Get the GeekSquad Protection and RENEW it before it's too late. The product is great, but don't forget to get the GeekSquad Protection Plan. I had to get replacement 3 times (2 in the first year and another in the 2nd year). Most importantly, RENEW your GeekSquad protection when you get your last replacement. I wasn't informed of this by the best buy employee and i was denied renewal towards the end of my warranty period. I found it unfair and unjust so wanted to let other customers know of this before hand.

Nice headphones but the microphone started going out in 2 months. By the third month people said it was garbled and then it quit completely...Luckily I purchased the insurance and am going back to replace it hopefully

    Not Worth the Money

I bought these to wear while working out. The first few times were great. The sound quality was outstanding and they also had good volume controls. I started having issues with them prompting my iPhone's voice control option without touching anything. After a few weeks the track forward/back buttons stopped working. After about one month the volume control stopped working. Now when I wear them the volume will not stay. It gets louder and then softer every few seconds. It sounds like a scratched cd playing. I had to revert back to the pair that came with the phone. I have not had any problems with those and they were free.

This would of been a 5 star, however, the advertising is not specific nor did the bestbuy agent give me the right advice. The headphones sound work great with my Samsung SIII, however, thats the only thing that works. Although the box says its compatible with androids, it isnt fully compatible. The mic and control buttons dont work except for the play/pause button. When I get a call, I have to unplug the headphones from the phone to be able to speak; very unconvenient. Besides that, the sound quality is good... I'm just not thrilled about having paid $125.00 and having this problem.

I first bought the power beats after originally having a pair of beats but they was hurting my ears so i opt for the power beats. I admit these were a lot more comfortable, but I had to returned them 4 times and each time something either fell off or stopped working. I think it's the design of the plug or something, the left side speaker went out on two of the 4 i had, I returned the first pair because of the left speaker and on the second pair, pieces of the cord fell off. I didn't have them a month before the left speaker went out. the next pair some how there was a shortage in the plug. the next one had went out after working out and the last one just stop working after two weeks. I took them back and got the Klipsch on ear instead sounds and performs better

I purchased the earbuds and used them for about an hour. The next time I used them they went nuts. Constantly, they would skip from song to song, play even when they were not on, then stop, then play again, etc. They also constantly activated voice controll on my phone. The volume controll never worked, and the mic never worked. They look cool and fit my ears really well.

    Already broken

Purchased less than 24 hours ago, and the connection at the jack is already faulty. The slightest movement of it turns the volume up and down on it's own, its not a pleasant feeling to have it blasting at full volume, sound cuts in and out. The volume control works when it wants to, I press the up and down buttons several times before it does anything, and for a fact it has something to do with the connection at the jack... These headphones sound EXCELLENT, and are the BEST fitting ear hook phones I've ever purchased, i forget i have them in my ear. But really... The build quality is terrible for $150. I purchase the extended warranty ($20) just in case I ended up liking them and they fell apart later down the line, but in less than 24 hours they are already broken. I didn't even get a chance to workout in these, that was the next test, so I can't say if they stay in while running or lifting weights but they do feel really secure in my ear walking around the house or work. I'll give the next version of these (if there is one) a chance, maybe they had a bad production of these or something. I hate to return them because they sound amazing. If you're looking to buy these, give them a try and maybe your set won't be falling apart as soon as you open the box. You can always return them!

I have to say that I was really disappointed with the sound quality with these! I have a few pairs of Skullcandy ear buds and my $80 set of those blows these out of the water with bass. I have tried a few different types and sizes of buds to help but no magic bullet yet. They do stay in place great and the mid/high end sounds great but it's seriously lacking in the bass. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't have spent the money on these as they are so pricey. Would I spend around $75-$100 yes but over priced for what you get.

The WILL Break and cause infections

    Posted .

It's not really a matter of "IF" it is a matter of "when". Also if you have ears with skin be careful because where the 2 pieces of plastic is molded together on the back of the bud is pretty rough, and cause A LOT of irritation and even infection. I had to sand the plastic down to make them more comfortable. If you are looking for some earbuds that sound great but only last a month or so then this is the set for you. If you like your money and don't want to waste it on poorly crafted products, then I would stay away from these

Sound and feel good, but they will break

I looked at reviews, and despite seeing reports of mics breaking, speakers quitting, I decided to chance them because of great sound quality reports, and they're Beats. Bad choice. I took them out for a light 10 minute jog where I barely sweated. When I came back, I set them down in a dry place, then came back about 10 mins later and the mic did not work. Luckily I had 15 days to return them. To all considering using these while sweating, DO NOT BUY THESE! I would recommend buying the Bose SIe2i sport headphones. They are the exact same price, and do not have the reputation of breaking that these headphones do. Plus, they have all the odds and ends of these except they have a different ear fitting piece and they aren't beats. Don't waste your money on these.

I just bought these yesterday, and I love them. They are way more comfortable than my original ear buds. They kept falling out. The sound quality is not as good as my Dre Studios. Unfortunately, those broke on the band. I am hoping these last longer than those. I have not tried the control talk, but I guess it is supposed control the ipod or iphone.

I listen to all kinds of music from rock to rap and to me there was hardly any bass no matter what i set my equalizer to but my biggest complaint was comfort they just hurt my ears. I took them back and exchanged them for the new Monster - Inspiration Earbuds and these sound much better and are comfortable to wear.

I use my power beats everyday for hours. I am unable to wear most ear bud headphones because most of them cause discomfort. I use these while I study, workout, basically anything having to with sound. I listen to different genres of music and no matter what I play, quality is great. I have 0 complaints about these power beats.

These headphones have amazing sound, but the left earbud went out after about 2 months. I tried the other beats by dre earbuds but the sound just didn't match up. I am waiting a bit before I try these again so hopefully they will fix this wiring issue in the left earbud. Just make sure you buy the extended warranty if you buy these as a fall back incase they stop working.
