Honestly I loved these at first but ever since I did the firmware update. Now they don’t connect like they use to and they discount while listening to music all the time. I really want to return them but I am passed the return policy.

This was the second pair of Powerbeats Pro that I picked up. I had originally purchased a pair in November. They started out just fine - fit nicely, etc, however within a few weeks the right ear bud stopped having any sound, and the earbuds stopped holding the sync - i would have to remove them as a wireless option on my other devices and re-pair every time i wanted to use them. This happened with both the first pair and the pair i exchanged for. Best Buy however, was FABULOUS to deal with for both returns/exchanges.

Avoid this product, the poor design and poor performance leave you with more frustration than value. Charging and the charging design are poor. Often times when I open the clamshell case one of the earbuds will be drained of power and never adequately charged. Even after ensuring both are showing to charge on the phone screen prior to closing the case, the next day I will find one completely dead. This is far from ideal when getting ready to run or go into the gym. I bought the Apple Care plus plan for these units – be forewarned Best Buy will send these to Apple for support so you will be without the headphones while they are being repaired. Worse yet - Apple returned them stating, no problem found. After completing a few YouTube searches it appears the charging issue is common enough for several users to post videos – the common fix is to lick the headset contacts prior to putting back in the case. This is mind-blowing that a product at this price point requires such a ridiculous hack to work properly. I moved from Plantronic wireless earbuds to Beats and the sound quality of the Beats isn’t even in the same league as the Plantronics. I’ve used the equalizer and tweaked the settings, yet these headphones have a tinny sound and really do not capture the bass as I expected a beats product would do. Overall this has been my most disappointing tech purchase in the past two years.

Will buy again have 2 sets and bought a pair for friend

I will place both earphones on the power charge and only one will be charge. It is hard to know if both are charging in the power set.

This is my second pair of 250.00 earbuds from Beats that lose contact with one side for charging. First round was the left side not charging. This one is less than 90 days old and the right side doesn't charge in the case...unless you lick it and hold it tight. What a rip off.
