Honestly the best headset I ever had, someone took them off my desk and never saw them again. Wish I had gotten these the first time. What held me back was that apple owns it and not covered by Best Buy’s protection which is easy.

    Favorite for running and exercise!

LOVE them! I do a lot of running and these are the only headphones that work for me. They do not move out of place and fit so comfortably. I can't wait for the newer version of this one because I tried the new in-ears headphones and just couldn't do it. I have had mine for some years so now they are starting to have some connectivity issues but nothing too bad. I use them everyday for like hours!

Great IF they work.Big Issues w/Bluetooth n charge

I’m SO disappointed. I loved these, great to workout with, no matter what kind of movement, great sound, easy to connect with iPhone/iPad. But after a few months they started to have issue with the charge, and with the connectivity. Half of the time only one of the two connects, so I have to keep taking them off, putting them back in the case and try and try again. Then I have to be super careful when putting back in the case to charge Andy iPhone close by, check to make sure both of them are charging, often having to try 10 times cuz only one of the two is working. Absolutely annoying and it ruins the whole experience. I contacted the support, I shipped them and they sent them back saying they work fine and they’re up to their standards. Yes they work, except 2 out of 3 times that I want to use them it takes me 10 minutes of failed attempt to make them BOTH work properly, and same thing when I need to charge them. Some standards they have!! When they work, they’re great, that’s the only reason why they don’t get one star. Because durability and poor standards of customer service are really worth half a star.

So I held off on getting the air pods because I just didn’t see how they would stay in my ear at the gym and I sweat a lot. I was extremely excited when they announced the Powerbeats Pro because everything about seemed like what I just needed and apple hit everything right with these. Sound, quality, and they way they just slide into your ear and fit is very very good. There also lighter than what I thought while in my ear and working out, the case isn’t as big as people claim to me and don’t really bother me either. I ordered mines May 10th and got them the 30th, the wait was well worth it. If you live an active life these are definitely for you.

Almost 3 years later, these things are still holding strong. I have tiny ears, so I need earphones that wrap around my ears for working out and running. They don't move at all. I also use them for phone calls because I hate holding my phone in my hand. I will keep buying these.

    Great Wireless Headphones!

The build quality is pretty solid. I listened to a song on my Airpods 2, then listened to the same song on the Powerbeats Pro. I didn't notice a difference at first, especially at low volume. When I turned the volume at least halfway or higher I started to hear the difference. The Powerbeats Pro definitely sound better than my Airpods 2. With the headphones in my hear, they sound even better when I twist them backwards as far as they can go. This creates a tighter seal in my ear and the bass is even deeper. Unfortunately, I quickly get ear fatigue and eventually take them off. If I don't twist them back as far they don't sound nearly as good, but they don't hurt my ear as much. The Powerbeats allow you to monitor the battery life from your Apple devices and pause/play the music by taking them in and out of your ear just like my Airpods. The 9 hour battery life is a plus as well. I wish they were a bit more comfortable to wear, but I'll still keep them since they won't fall out of my ear and has the features I enjoy from my Airpods.

I absolutely loveeeee these! I ordered them at the store and it was delivered the same week. Amazing quality, soooo easy to use especially since I’m not very tech savvy. Super comfortable around the ears, and I am one to get migraines when wearing glasses or headbands, and these ear buds are so comfortable I forget I have them in. Worth every penny.

One of the best out there

I love getting all the new technology that comes out and when I saw that Dr. Dre and his Beats headphones Pro were coming out, I was ecstatic!! Reading the specs and noticing that these were super similar to the Apple Air pods as far as functionality. I knew that it was going to be simple to pair to my apple device. I use to have a pair of Beats in the past, and I loved the clarity of them, but the only thing that I disliked about my previous beats as well as apple headphones was the wire and around that time, Bluetooth headphones weren't really popular. But now comparing the Air Pods to Beats, Beats captures the bass in a lot of the music. Which was another thing that sold me on the Powerbeats Pro. But the one thing that I loved about these is that the battery life.... 9 hours of use on one charge. AMAZING!!! I also like that these wrap around your ear for better security on not losing them. All in all, these are some of the best wireless Bluetooth headphones I have had in such a long time.

Beat headphones I’ve owned! Sound quality is great and they don’t slip off! They automatically pair when i put them on and don’t disconnect randomly like my JBL headphones did.

    Good, but with caveats

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

First, the good: these sound great and hold up to years of abuse, sweat, dirt, heat, you name it. They hold a charge that lasts hours even after four years. However. However. They are difficult to pair, difficult to charge, and often require forgetting and repairing for Handoff to work. The contacts in the case get easily oxidized and charging at that point becomes a dice roll - and it happens quickly. Within weeks if you use them regularly.

Don't recommend - charging system is worthless!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

If I could give these 0 stars I would, and for one reason...the charging system on these is without question, the single worst platform I have ever used. I cannot express this enough. Getting things seated correctly has been a chore from day 1, and that includes a second pair and 2 different charging cases from Apple. They do not seat properly and will self-discharge 100% of the time if the case is closed, and about 80% of the time if the case is open. Things are just too fiddly. I don't know if the tolerances are too tight and QC too low or what, but given that 9 times out of 10 I cannot use these immediately when I want/need to and have to wait 3-10 minutes for one of them to charge enough to use, and then use the other one that continues to charge (hopefully) when headphone 1 dies. I have fought with this for 3 years and none of the benefits outweigh this single con. I keep them because I'm stubborn and paid almost $200 for them and will get as much "use" out of them as I can. It's just so very frustrating that this charging system was ever implemented in the first place. There are pros: I like the hook The sound is pretty good They are Apple "native" and connecting initially is quick When you can get things exactly right to get them charging, they do so extremely quickly...like, scary fast There are also other cons: Even once adjusted, the work loose from my ears when running (which is why I got them in the first place They do occasionally lose connection from the phone during use which usually requires disabling and re-enabling bluetooth on the device (phone/computer)

Good earphones... but a little warning...

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I've just bought these earphones around Febuarary 2020. Let me say this. As an athlete who nearly works out daily and play soccer, these earphones are great. But.... something is truly bothering me and it's to the point i may consider a refund... and it's that.... Apparently, my left earphones is a bit quieter than the right. The volume is nearly the same, but when you listen to a earphone test where it tests each side, you can truly hear that the left earphone is a bit quieter than the right earphone. I thought it was my ears aging but I've let my sister used it and she said the exact same thing. I've thought this was a faulty set so I went back and got an exchange for a new one just now. And... Yep.... again... exactly the same issue on my current 2nd set. This time, I feel that it's a bit more of an improvement then my 1st so I would give it a pass. . So at this point, i'm not sure if either i'm having bad luck or this is actually the design of the earphones and if so, it's pretty disappointing. Or maybe i'm just being extremely picky as usual. Especially for the high price tag and thankfully I got it on sale. Heck, even my 1st gen airpods didn't have this issue too.... same for my Sony headset that I use on my PS4. Overall, it's great despite the issue. And the comfort is amazing. Able to actually play soccer and not being able to worry that my earphones will fall off is just awesome. I'm just really picky and indecisive that the sound on the left is a tiny bit quieter than my right. But really, you can only tell if you are listening to a earphone test or listening to you music really loud and even max volume.

    Chips upon chips

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

First: I'm not buying bluetooth headphones for an "audiophile" experience. While, they get close and closer, Bluetooth and Audiophile are mutually exclusive. So with that out of the way, the primary feature of bluetooth headphones I look for is connectivity. Battery life and comfort are also considerations. Apple has taken bluetooth connectivity to the next level with their W1 and H1 chips. So if you're an Apple user, like me, utilizing that technology is in our best interests, IMO. But until now, none of their earphones looked remotely normal (sorry Airpods, you may have good sound and the technology but you look absurd). These also sound fine which believe it or not, is a compiment because so many wireless and especially truly wireless, are more offensive sounding than "good enough for me". If you're a non-Apple user or an Apple user that doesn't care about connectivity, there are many other truly wireless options that I'm sure you've read about...Jabra, Bose, Sennheiser, etc. But I'm not trying to look like Frankenstein and while I wish these had a lower profile the over ear hooks provide stability that the Frankenstein earbuds don't, which is an added piece of mind, especially if using to work out. When I heard that Airpods2 were coming out, I was hoping for a re-design but that didn't happen. And while I wish there were more H1 chip earphones to choose from (if I were Apple, I'd at least take the white version of these and turn them into Airpods Sport) these are the best I'm going to get for now.

Not worth $250 or even $200 or even $150

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I don't understand how these cost $250, oh yeah, you're paying to show off the "b" (brand name). These headphones are worth no more than $100.00. If you want a good (the best) pair of wireless headphones look into the AirPods Pro or Bose Soundsport Free Wireless, there you will get your money's worth. The Beats look very nice and fit very comfortable, but the sound is so low compared the the 2 I mentioned above. When I first put the headphones on, I found myself double checking the volume to see if it would go higher somehow, but nope. On a scale of 1-10 the sound level of these may reach a 5 or a 6 compared to AirPods Pro's or Bose Soundsport. In addition, the bass on the Beats is a joke, I thought the Beats brand was known for bass, but it sounds like they forgot all about it with this item. Save your money, save your trip to have to return or exchange these. AirPods Pro's or Bose Soundsport Free are the way to go for quality sound.
