The charging pod does not always make contact with the left ear leads, leaving me with one charged earbud. Not happy. Poor design, preventing the earbuds from snapping directly into place with 100 percent certainty of contact. This has adversely affected my workouts, since I have to wear old earphones. But hey, the old ones work every time.

my only problem I having is they are very loose in ur ears when wearing glasses they haven't fall out of my ears but that's why giving it 4 stars but 5 stars on how good the sound is on it

The problem with my Powerbeats Pro earbuds is that the right earbud has not charged properly. This issue developed after several months and became progressively worse. Often, the right earbud would not charge when placed in its case; at times it would actually discharge rather than charge. I could usually get it to charge again by repeatedly re-seating it, jiggling it back and forth, and swearing at it. After several more months I contacted Apple Support, described the problem, and was authorized to send my earbuds in for repair. In less than a day Apple Support ran tests and returned the earbuds to me with a printed form that said their “technicians performed complete diagnosis tests,” that the earbuds were “now working correctly,” and with proper sound quality. They then cancelled and closed my service request. I agree that the earbuds worked correctly – when they worked – but that was not the problem. The problem was that the right earbud would not charge reliably and that problem was not addressed. After Apple Support failed to solve the problem, I decided to look into it more carefully myself. I saw that the contact points for charging the left earbud, which charged correctly, were shiny and flush with the earbud surface; however, the contact points for the problematic right earbud were recessed below its surface. One contact point on the right earbud was discolored rather than shiny, as was its corresponding charging pin in the case. Perhaps sweat from my workouts accumulated in the space above this recessed contact point, evaporated, and left behind a salt deposit on the contact point and its charging pin that led to corrosion and excessive electrical resistance. Further, I noticed small burrs on the rubber grommet around the discolored contact pin that may have impeded proper seating of the earbud in its case. I cleaned the recessed contact points in the right earbud with electrical contact cleaner on a Q-tip, and removed the small burrs around the contact pin as best I could using an x-acto knife and sharp-pointed tweezers, with the help of a high magnification lens. Since this procedure, I have not had problems charging the right earbud. Before I bought my Powerbeats Pro earbuds, I read several reviews that described charging problems similar to the one I had, so perhaps my experience is not unique. My hope in writing this review is that others who may have similar problems can solve them without attempting to rely on Apple Support, which I found unhelpful and dismissive.

Very satisfied with my purchase, headphones are good quality

The left earbud had poor to no connection to the charger/case. It was frustrating to get to a workout and realize only one earbud had charged. The app would inconsistently display when it was or wasn't charging. It was a guessing game to determine if the bears charged or not. Very inconvenient to check every night to ensure they were charging. The apple care process is garbage and if it wasn't for best buys customer service I'd probably be dealing with apple care mailing back and forth, setting up appts and dealing with a poorly made product. I finally just traded them in for the newer beats earbuds since my wife has them and seems to be happy with them.

Light weight, I run/jog a lot and they do not fall out at all, and the sound is excellent.

So who really knows what the exact composition material for these headphones are. I've purchased and used many of the Beats by Dre headphones and these headphones will hurt your ears, and if they don't consider yourself extremely lucky. Apple is not admitting that there is something wrong (may be waiting for a class action lawsuit). My ears get so red, itchy, and oozy. I do clean these headphones after every use. I let my ears heal, put them back on and BAM, ears are back on fire... Now the sound is amazing, crisp and clear.

Good sound but not better than AirPod Pro. They really don’t stay in my ears good.
