    Charging Flaw

Sound and performance meets all the expectations for a Beats by Dre product. Charging is a major issue. When you dock the earphones to charge, you have to double check that they are connected and actually getting charged. Otherwise, you'll have a nice surprise when you go to use the earphones. One side will either not turn on or it will go out during use. And it only happens to one side, never both. I plan to let Apple work out the bugs and then go to an Apple Store and get them looked at within the 1 year warranty.

    Still has flaws

Sometimes one side of the headphone disconnect so you have to put them back in the case to reconnect. Today I went to the gym with the battery 100% on both sides and when I arrived the sound decided to stop. I continuously disconnect and connect and still no sound. The second i got home and put them in the case they started to work.

Pairing Capability is Poor - No Sound in Both Buds

    Posted .

Great sound when they work. Great fit for workouts. Unfortunately this purchase was a waste of money. I've tried three charging cases now and the left ear bud will not pair consistently - which means no sound. This flaw renders these headphones useless in my opinion. I won't but any more Dr. Dre products in the future.

    Great sound but......

They sound great and I like how they integrate with Apple due to the H1 chip, but man do they hurt. This is probably the most uncomfortable set of headphones/earbuds that I’ve ever owned. Maybe my ears are shaped to be to wear these for long periods of time, but because of the price I’m returning them ASAP pay a little extra and just get the AirPods.

They didn't work and the companies don't care

These gave me almost immediately. Only one bud worked on most occasions. After two months, I took them back. Best Buy directed me to Apple for the return. So that's inconvenient. Apple had to send them in for repairs. A few days later I got a response saying the damage was not covered and the bill would be almost as much as I paid for them. Forget it. These were refurbished, and I'm sure they came to me damaged. I hardly used them. So in the end, neither Best Buy nor Apple would stand behind the product. I might as well have flushed my money down the toilet.

    Unreliable

I hate these earphones. I use earphones all day, every day for work and rely on them heavily. Having used Beats wired earphones for years successfully, I thought these would be a nice upgrade. They rarely connect reliably via bluetooth and often one earphone doesn't work. They also randomly shut off, often in the middle of a conversation. I'm returning these.

    Ear Canal hurts

Sound is good but my ear canal was in pain. I tried each ear tip that was included but it didn’t work. I really wanted to like these but it wasn’t worth the pain.

    Best Headphones

Ive had Powerbeats Pro, Powerbeats Fit Pro, and Airpods Pro and these are by far the best. Ive lost two pairs of the Powerbeats Pros and always come back to them. Battery is great, sound is amazing, and they stay in place and dont fall out very often. Highly Recommend.

    Terrible Charging Case

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Purchased about 1.5 years ago. Initially pleased with connection, sound, and comfort of fit. After about a month, the charging case became inconsistent. The headphones, when placed in the case, must be carefully and precisely aligned. Then, it's risky to close the case or transport it at all after placing the headphones in them because essentially every time one of the headphones will come off the charger and drain the battery to 0% (even if not connected to your device). I can't take these headphones in a gym bag or leave them in the car, otherwise the slight jostling will dislodge a headphone from the charging port and it will drain to 0. Then, I go to work out and have to carefully align them with the charger and wait for 10-15 min for a decent enough charge to last my workout. Terrible design.

These are ok at first, sound is great but thats about it. I can put these in the super sized charger case right now and they will say charging then out of no where they just stop charging & are dying for sum reason ? & sometimes they refuse to connect to the device you are trying to use them on. They kinda suck now

    Great sound, bad battery life

Sound quality is great but after a few months the battery charge doesn't last as long. Maybe after one session, only 1 earbud will work. Very upset when i go to the gym or the track to run and only 1 earbud connects.

    Don't Buy

Would not recommend. Worked fine for a couple years and then out of the blue, the left ear would go out after about 12 minutes of use. Even though it said it was fully charged. Very aggravating when you are on the phone. Past 2-year replacement, so I am out. I took very good care of my Beats because they cost so much.

Sometimes only one side connects. Other times both sides, took them to Apple Store, Said they work perfectly fine. I have Apple care, I’m pretty sure if I didn’t it they would’ve replaced them and charge me for new pair. Still have same problem, never again,

    Battery Issues--they randomly shut off

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

For the first couple years I owned them they worked great. Sounded great. Great phone call quality. I work 10 hour days and never had an issue with battery life. I would put them in the changing box during break and they would get me through the entire shift. Out of the blue they started shutting off on me after less than 3 hours. I googled it, and it turns out this is a major problem. They just start shutting off at around 55% power. I tried updating the firmware and it didn't help. I only wear one a t a time, so if one does I can just switch ears and charge the dead one, but this is still very disappointing for the money I spent on them. I'm hoping Beats will step up to the plate and make this right.
