worst charging case i have ever owned

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

the charging case is so inconsistent its impossible to get both headphones to charge without spending several minutes inserting and removing each earpiece over and over again. even when you get the “click” that does not guarantee the earpiece will actually charge. also sometimes you will get both to charge but as soon as you close the case one earbud will decide to stop charging. when they actually do charge the earbuds are great but the charging case is so bad i can’t recommend these

I bought these headphones in Aug 2020 - now one of them will not hold a charge - I do not know what the life span is of headphones - but the last pair of bose I had lasted 10 years - I will never buy another pair of Beats!

    Serious Connectivity Issues

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

First off, I am using this product with an Android S8 phone. Even when I have the phone in my pocket, the connection breakups happen at least once a minute. The right and left earphone also don't seem to sync with each other which causes an echo sound (this takes place for about 80% of the time that I am listening to them).

    Don't waste your money

Don't waste your money. Soon after the one year warranty expires these headphones stopped working appropriately. The right one wont charge no matter what you do, and the case goes from 100% charged to dead in just a few hours. Apple support does nothing to help other than tell you to clean the contacts, forget the bluetooth connection and pair the headphones again, and update the firmware. Oh, and to tey a different power outlet. None of these fixed the issue and now you have just wasted your money. Both a BestBuy employee and an apple care employee told me they wouldnt recommend buying a beats by dre product again with how often they see issues with their products.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE. battery drains in no time!

These earphones are issue after issue until one day the battery of one of them drains in just one hour (from 100% to 0). Then you plug it in for 1 minute and it's back at 90 something % to drain again in 10 minutes. In the meanwhile, the other earphone is still at 90-something %. It's SO frustrating! I've reset it plenty of times, I've tried everything that's on the internet, I've cleaned everything and this crap keeps draining the battery in less than 1h. I haven't even used these earphones that much, not even every day. NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

Pay full price for defective item

Purchased defective items. They are not even a month old and from day one, the battery never worked properly. At the store i asked if these were new and fully fictional, they advised that they were but they weren't. I paid full price for a defective item, right out of the box. I was told by apple to take it to the apple store and they will fix it. After leaving work for an hour, the store told me they have to send it out to get fixed, they dont have any service in the stores for beats. Why didnt they tell me this when I was on the phone with them as they advised me to go to the store to fix them. I now cannot use them for 10 days, since they sent them out. I only had the item for 30 days. Terrible defective item and terrible service, as they dont know what is going on.

    Junk

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I don’t know how they got all these good reviews they are absolute junk. I sent them in because the left earbud stops charging and as fast as I sent them and I got them back one day later saying that they could not replicate the issue. Now this is been going on for about a month now and all they did was take the ear tips off and put them back in the case. I would give them -5 stars if I could. Also at the time I paid $250 for them not worth $2.50. Apple only cares if you purchase their products what happens after that is on you so now I have $250 earbuds or should I say just one right earbud. Also if you research on Google left earbud not charging this is very common in for $250 they should have a fix for this but they don’t and don’t care, rant over.

Great headphone, unfortunately on my 2nd pair, still having Bluetooth issues. 99% of the time I have to put buds back into the case for them to even register a Bluetooth connection

    No Bass Whatsoever

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

People may not like a bad review of an Apple product but here it goes. As much as the pairing and charging is amazing from these earbuds... When it comes to sound, there is no bass at all even at full volume. WAY too much treble I did give it two stars for ease of connectivity and sleek design. But these are not worth $250 for the sound quality, so I'm returning them.

    nice design, poor audio quality.

The design is nice. They don't fall out of my ears. Construction is solid. These are the worst sounding bluetooth earbuds I've ever heard. Honestly for the price, these are absolutely not worth it. I don't know how Apple agreed to sell this to the public.

    JUNK

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Okay. I will say this, they have at best, ok sound quality. They do stay put, once you get them on. I drive a heavy duty wrecker for a living so i have to have hands free ability to talk. These "muffle" what you hear near you, cant really wear them and have a conversation with your passenger at the same time. Also, when talking on the phone, ghe person on the other end hears EVERYTHING around you. Too much background noise comes through. Like I said earlier, I drive a lot so these are not a good fit for me. After about 30 minutes of wear, they will make your ear sore. I have lots of pros and cons so i will break them down for you: Pros: Sound quality Ease to charge Battery longevity Ease of setup Ease of use Cons: Not comfortable for long wear Excessive background noise Difficult to put on if driving

    Connection issues

I absolutely loved how comfortable the headphones were.. That being said, I ended up returning them because the connection issues were abysmal. There would be an echo from in the music or podcast I was listening to in the left bud. I hoped it was just the pair I bought so I returned them for another and they did the exact same thing.

    Broke after 12 months

I’ve owned this product for just over a year now and the left ear piece has completely stopped working. I have worked out in these countless times and they would have issues connecting completely to the charging pins and I would go to use my headphones with one of them completely dead. Sometimes one ear wouldn’t connect or play any sound. Finally after a year it became a permanent issue. The worst part was that when I reached out to support, my best option would be to just buy a new set they told me. The cost of shipping and repair would quickly exceed the cost to just buy another $250 set. Very frustrating because it’s only been a year and now I’m totally screwed. Don’t buy these. Please

Wont connect, and one bud doesn't charge. Tried connecting it. Reset the app and the product still wont connect. Before work out will definitely waste you're time connecting. I would recommend different product.

Sound great but irritated and caused rash to ears

I was super happy with these earbuds when I first got them. I bought them in April and in mid July I got a terrible ear canal infection and open areas on the backs of my ears where the loops are on the beats. I went through 10 days of steroid antibiotic ear drops which didn’t work went back to the doctor and had to get $350 ear drops which did the trick. I have worn earbuds for years all different kinda and never have had a reaction like I did to the power beats pro. I googled the problems I had and found there are many many many others that have had the same thing happen, clear ear drainage, infection, itching, open areas and crusty build up. Crazy that apple hasn’t looked into the issue yet. It’s not just a coincidence with how many people are having the exact same reaction to these and have never had a problem with any other ear bud.

    Right ear bud not charging

This is a very expensive purchase less than six months the right ear bud is not charging. The light indication on the charger does not turn red. After several attempts to disconnect and re-sync still the right ear buds is not connecting to the phone.

Perform great but no longer work

I love the earbuds and I use them religiously when working out. Unfortunately, the right earbud stopped charging and no longer works after owning these for over a year. The connector on the earbud almost looks like it has corroded. I have done my best to clean the connector to the best of my ability but to no avail. This seems to be a common problem with these so I can’t recommend anyone spending money until the issue gets addressed by Apple… which I believe is wishful thinking.
