A solid seat of earbuds that exceeded expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased my pair of Powerbeats Pro a little over a year ago when the Moss color went live. I paid the full $250 retail price but they have since been available for $50 less. I have these paired to my iPad Pro, iPhone 11 Pro, and Apple Watch S5 all mainly listening to Apple Music with some movies and YouTube videos on my iPad and iPhone. Overall, my expectations have been exceeded with these. Reviews said the AirPods Pro sound better but I disagree with that. Yes, the AirPods Pro have ANC and the Powerbeats Pro let more outside sound in but I think sound quality is better on the Powerbeats. Highs are never piercing and lows thump yet remain well-defined without being excessive. There's rather large separation for closed-back earbuds with a larger soundstage than I expected (though still nothing close to open-backed over ear headphones). The fit on these is also better than I thought. The first three Powerbeats generations did not fit my ears. Well, the first generation somewhat did but their ear hooks were uncomfortable. The other generations fit better but they popped out of my ears despite the uncomfortable ear hooks never moving. The AirPods and AirPods Pro don't fit my ears, neither do earbuds that don't have some type of ear fin. But these are fine. I can wear them for hours on end without feeling discomfort as the rubber eartip doesn't go as deep into my ear canal as other earbuds like the Galaxy Buds+. The ear hooks are light, don't pinch my ears, and keep things in place. I've worked in the office, lab, and exercised while wearing these and I never have to adjust them (except when removing safety glasses and my mask) or take them out to give my ears a break. Apple's battery life estimate is accurate, I've listened to these 3-5 hours a day and end up recharging the case once a week. For the size, I wish the case recharged them more than 1.5 times. I would have also prefered Apple going with USB-C instead of Lightning (same with the iPhone) so I would only have to carry around one AC adapter, one cable for all of my devices (except my Watch). Qi charging would have also been nice. There's rumor that Apple is releasing a Qi charging case for these but it hasn't happened yet. Pairing is easy if you have an iOS/iPadOS device. Open the case (with the earbuds in them) next to you device and they pop up with an animation even matching the color of your Powerbeats. It took all of 5 seconds to have them recognized and paired to my iPhone. Switching between devices is easy, I just have to select my Powerbeats through their Settings menu. They were automatically paired to my Apple devices through iCloud. Apple is updating their firmware in the future for automatic switching. You can be watching a movie on your iPad and, if you receive a call on your iPhone, the Powerbeats will automatically switch to that as your audio source. The firmware update is coming out when iOS 14/iPadOS 14 is released. Connectivity is solid. I haven't had these dropout with my devices. There's supposedly a 100ft range on these but I haven't put that to the test, I've walked about 60ft away from my iPhone when using these and they stayed connected and playing. Apple put a Class 1 Bluetooth 5 chip (the H1) in these along with "Hey Siri" support. You don't have to hold the Beats logo button in to talk with Siri. The Beats button, which is on both earbuds, controls playback with the standard button pattern we are all familiar with. There is also a volume rocker on each earbud so you have full control of everything using your left or right hand. It's nice to see volume controls on wireless earbuds even if it makes them larger. Multiple colors of the Powerbeats are available so you should be able to find a color that you like. These are sweat resistant with an IPX4 rating. I accidentally dropped my right earbud in a sink full of water and it survived without issues. Apple offers a 1 year warranty on these but, if you're going to use them a lot, I recommend spending the $30 for AppleCare and extended that to 2 years of accidental damage and battery protection. My only negatives are really with the charging case and Apple's inclusion of Lightning instead of USB-C and lack of Qi charging. I'm alright with the size of the charging case. It's setup that way to easily grab the Powerbeats by their ear hooks and to put them back in the charger without too much fuss. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a solid pair of earbuds for exercising or even everyday use. They're better than the regular AirPods and, if you don't need ANC, they will give you better results than the AirPods Pro. These will fit people that have problematic ears that normally don't work with other earbuds. Long battery life, sweat resistance, a stable fit, and solid sound quality. There's not much more you can ask from a pair of wireless earbuds. They've served me well for the last year and I expect to easily get a few more out of them. Well worth the $200 they've been on sale for.

Good, but with caveats
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, the good: these sound great and hold up to years of abuse, sweat, dirt, heat, you name it. They hold a charge that lasts hours even after four years. However. However. They are difficult to pair, difficult to charge, and often require forgetting and repairing for Handoff to work. The contacts in the case get easily oxidized and charging at that point becomes a dice roll - and it happens quickly. Within weeks if you use them regularly.

Excellent sound!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own the first gen AirPods and Powerbeats 2. The powerbeats pro offer a much richer sound, battery life is not an issue since the charge in the included case just like the AirPods so it’s very unlikely that you will be hindered by needing a charge. I took them through a HIIT workout and had no issues regarding sweat or the headphones coming loose or uncomfortable.

Favorite for running and exercise!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LOVE them! I do a lot of running and these are the only headphones that work for me. They do not move out of place and fit so comfortably. I can't wait for the newer version of this one because I tried the new in-ears headphones and just couldn't do it. I have had mine for some years so now they are starting to have some connectivity issues but nothing too bad. I use them everyday for like hours!

Beats
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I had bought them I was super pumped to use them… However, the actually your buds press too hard inside of your ear and made it uncomfortable for me... because of that I was not satisfied and returned it back to Best Buy.

'The sound is low
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These were simply not loud enough. Not the sound you would expect from this product. Also difficult to fit into the ears. But I have small ears so that’s probably specific to me. The sound quality was my biggest complaint.

Amazing headphones if you don’t have AirPods
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately I lost my AirPods but rather than get new ones I decided to try these. Got to say I enjoy them much more than the AirPods, the fit is better and so is the sounds, great for active users and much longer battery life. Does have some cons tho: -Charger Case is rather BIG -Sound although better than AirPods still leaves a little to be desired

Good earphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They kind of hurt my ears the first couple of weeks using them. But I eventually got used to it. Even thought they offer smaller sizes of the rubber material, the hard plastic surrounding my ear kind of felt sore after some time

Best Wireless Headphones on the market
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these headphones. Glad the price is going down finally. My first pair cost a fortune. Great battery life & they dont fall off your ear. And they're loud. I only buy brand new ones. I cant speak for the refurbished ones.

Not worth the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your like me and keep your earbuds in for long periods of time theses are not for you. After a couple hours they really start to irritate the ear frome the bud and the outer ear part frome the bud squeezing the ear. Had to return them.

Great Sound Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with these earphones. I have AirPods but they seem to wiggle their way loose after time. These aren't going anywhere with the ear clip and the sound is much better than AirPods! Great bass but not too much to drown out the midrange or treble. A bit pricey but worth it for the seamless Apple ecosystem integration. Highly recommended!

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.10/10 design, they fit great. the bad thing though if you like BASS these are NOT for you. I returned due too the weak bass these things have. Not going to lie I would only pay 40-50 dollars for these things.

No sound after 2-weeks.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hoping to rate these high, but I simply couldn't due to a fundamental error: "No sound after 2-weeks of owning them." I understand there are technical problems that can happen, but it's extremely frustrating to have a product centered around sound to simply not play any at all. Despite looking at every piece of help imaginable, nothing resolved my problem. Fortunately, the store was kind enough to allow a return, even though 14-days have passed. I never own any piece of electronic that seemingly broke for no reason. What's worse, it is a problem experienced by many online.

Uncomfortable
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are very uncomfortable to wear. The sound was just okay. I’ve heard better for less money. I returned these and bought the ApplePods Pro. They was a little bit more money but way better sound and comfort.
