I love my beats by Dre! I do however have a major complaint regarding attempting to purchase a extended warranty with my beats. Per bestbuy at Citybase in San Antonio,tx- refused to let me purchase an extended warranty for my beat due to recent purchase of "beats by Dre" the company to Apple. Stating "Apple" has requested best buy not to sell any extended warranty for any Beats by Dre products. I requested documentation of Apple request and of course No one had, but plenty of excuses. Of course this was after I purchased my "Beats by Dre" wireless headphones. Don't get wrong I love them but the price was quite a lot especially without a warranty. For this reason I cannot recommend for a friend to purchase unless warranty becomes available. Great wireless headphones for a Runner!

Let me start by saying I have over 20 yrs of experience in audio acoustics as an audiophile and reseller of high end audio in the 90's (AKG, B&W, Definitive Technology, Conrad Johnson, Adcom, M&K, Acoustic Research, etc for the home. MB Quart, JL, Precision Power, Soundstream, Audio Control, etc for the car). I currently have my dad's old set of Acoustic Research AR-90's and my B&W DM-301's that I enjoy at home. I like various genres of music from Classic Rock, Pop Rock, Jazz, Rockabilly,, 90’s and modern. (Yes, Queen, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Billy Joel, Michael Jackson, Sting, Bryan Adams, Foreigner, James Taylor, Brian Setzer, Stray Cats, Steve Winwood, Jimmy Buffet, Paul Simon, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Ludicrous, etc.) For my portable entertainment, I use a Galaxy S5 with the Power Amp audio app and a set of Bose IE2 in-ear headphones. I've never been a fan of Bose, but they were the only in-ear (open sound) headphones that would not only fit my ear but give a very rich sound on all my sources (Sirius XM stream, MP3's etc) with little or no customization. But I really wanted to go wireless and I have been researching the Jaybirds, Powerbeats2 and Plantronics Backbeat Fit. I have never thought of myself as one to own Beats headphones due to it being more a fashion statement, but I understand that for good audio you sometimes have to pay a premium (even if for a little bit better sound to pay exponentially higher price). So I gave the PowerBeat2 a try and really really wanted to like them. My first impression was that they were pretty comfortable and fit nicely in my ears. They weren’t perfect in the comfort factor as after a little while I started to notice them in my ear (compared to the Bose IE2 which I barely notice im wearing hours on end). But compared to other headphones that fall out of my ear or I have to keep adjusting, the Powerbeats2 were the second best fit for my ears. The Plantronics Backbeat Fit was a very close 3rd in fit. Now I know Im not comparing apples to apples when using the IE2 because its not wireless, but I cant discount comfort when listening and the IE2’s are definitely comfortable. I don’t work out (yet. Though I stare at my elliptical each day and say “tomorrow”) however I use the headphones mostly on my commute to work. When it comes to sound, I had high expectations for these two-benjamin headphones. I was very disappointed though. I felt they came up short in low end bass richness as well as midbass and midrange. In fact the whole experience sounded very artificial and electronically with no depth. When compared to the Bose IE2, while the IE2 are not perfect, they were 10 times better in richness, warmth and depth. Fortunately on the Beats 2 I can customize the sound of my MP3s with the Power Amp app, but the app doesn’t interface with Sirius XM app and the sound quality just falls apart with no equalization. Again, my IE2’s even though without Power Amp app, was warm and rich enough on its own to sound like its playing from a tube amp. As for the Backbeat Fit, these were a little more balanced overall (compared to the PowerBeats2). The one thing I did love about the PowerBeats 2 was they could get really load if desired. One last thing Id like to mention. Upon deciding what wireless headset to go with, I chose the Backbeat Fit. The Fit was much easier to wear than the PowerBeats because it didn’t have a hanging cord that got in the way on my neck and tugged often. Many reviewers commented to let it hang in front, but when I did, it felt like I just had a wired headset. The Fit has a sturdy yet flexible band that wraps around the back of the head and does not tug. It is also pliable and latches onto your ears a lot easier. Overall I was disappointed with the PowerBeats2, especially for the luxury price it demands and I returned it to BestBuy. I am now back to my Bose IE2’s and still enjoy them even better now. My wife kept the Plantronics Fit and I will probably borrow them if I ever get on my elliptical. One day however someone will make the perfect Bluetooth in-ear headset. However that day is not today.

I typically have problems with ear buds, but not with these! Fit my ear well, they stay in place during my runs, and are quite comfortable. The sound quality is quite good, and they link wirelessly to my device very well.

Headphones work great. I mostly use them for working out. They down move around and actually stick in my ear when running. I would recommend them, they sound good too, but they could be cheaper, you're mostly paying for the name.

I love my Beats. I really helps me move around without having to be tied to my listening device. The sound is excellent and crisp. The ear buds do not hurt my ears and are lightweight. They don't fall out and all around useful.

I love these. They fit nice and sound great. Battery life is excellent. Only down side is they cut out a little when my phone is in my right pants pocket. I think it's too far from the headphones.

Audio dropout!! With so many things positive to say about this headset it makes it that much more difficult to raise the overshadowing negative that is audio dropout!! This headset was used with the latest Android and Apple devices and in each case failed in the Bluetooth stability area. I never spend this kind of money for any type of headset wireless or wired. But with the looming idea of exercise needing the utmost motivation and the greatest sound to keep me from giving up I chose these headphones. Needless to say even though they had amazing sound quality great bass mids and highs they also stayed in your ear unlike most other bluetooth wireless headsets while running. I just could not get over the fact that when I needed it most it continued to lose connection and play my music intermediately. This not only happened with my phone in my pocket but most surprisingly still happened with my phone attached to my arm band. Most of these headsets claim up to 20 to 30 feet connectivity and unless I have extremely long arms which I don't this should still have work seamlessly and it didn't. After reluctantly returning the Beats Bluetooth headset I chose to try jarv n motion 4.0 and have been happy ever since. That's not to say it doesn't have the occasional dropout but for $22 shipped I can live with it. I think I may be searching for something that doesn't exist a Bluetooth headset without dropout of any audio, maybe that type of quality can only be achieved with a wired headset. After trying several brands including these Beats I have yet to find a Bluetooth headset that does not have some drop out of audio. The phones used while testing Bluetooth connectivity for iPhone 5 and Samsung Note 4.

These earbuds are so easy to use, lightweight, and don't move around. Even when I'm working out hard and sweating they stay in place. The sound is excellent too. My spouse will be getting a pair since I love mine so much.

From working out at the gym to taking calls at the grocery store these headphones are awesome. I normally used to wear in ear headphones and mid workout would be trying to cram them back in my ears. The hooks are comfortable and very convenient even if you are not working out. Connects flawlessly to any Bluetooth enabled device. Pick up and go headphones, don't even need to read the manual to know how to use them. I have plans to buy another pair for a family member. Not sure if these are the best on the market as I have not tried any others of its kind so my opinion may be a bit bias but I love them.

I looked at several reviews before purchasing. Fit: I wasn't as concerned with fit because they give you about 4 interchangeable earbuds. They default ear buds were perfect. They fit snug and i have no problem whether I'm running or biking. Sound: Good robust sound in all genres unlike the Beats Solo. The only hesitation i had was using the bluetooth for actually conversations. There was static during some of the call and it was difficult for the person to hear me at times. It wasn't in all areas so I'm not sure if there was interference. I purchased them for the purpose of having something that delivers great sound, fits comfortably in my ear and is easy to use and it did just that.

Had many headphone brands and styles in the past. Beats simply are the best sounding. From the incredible trebles to the booming bass. No comparisions to others brands. The blu-tooth wireless is icing on the cake!

I previously had a pair of Jay Bird in ear head phones. Sound was great, bluetooth connection was simple and easy but they did not stay on when I ran on tradmill. The beats have great sound, stay on my ear great, but the only downside is the pairing with bluetooth is not as great as jay bird. Jaybirds say bluetooth connected or and power off and power on when those things happen. With Beats, I can't tell if they are paired with my phone, turned on or off, because there is no sound queue. So I have to turn on my music and if it plays through the headphones, I know its paired/ and on. If not, the music comes out of my phone and Iu have to make sure and turn on the beats.

I had the Beats headphones for 3 years and loved them! I couldn't listen comfortably to my music and study in the college library with them so I used earbuds. They kept falling out and wires got tangled up and I was hesitant to get the wireless BUT it was totally worth it! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! It was a surprise Christmas present and love them! I work out with them, used them on a long trip with the family, and can't wait to use them studying. They stay on, are easy to charge, and don't get tangled up like traditional earbuds. They are very comfortable, have a great quality sound and are hardly visible. Great wireless capability. Never had any difficulty with picking up a signal. Worth the price! My friends want them they are so good!

Good sound perfect fit a little tight extra cord length would a plus. Sound was impressive from a beats wireless product no distortion at max level but max is too low for my choice especially if u outside walking or running outside ambience noise will overtake the max level sound and makes it to you can hear the ambience noise instead of your music. No forward or back buttons only talk button with volume up and down. Also won't shut off when out of range or phone Bluetooth is off definitely not worth 199 unless u just wanna give ur money away to apple.

The fit and sound from these is great as compared to several others I tried. Only reason for deducting a star is the high price. Would be a much better value IMO if there were under $100.

So far so good. They are really comfortable and the best fit of wireless headphones that I've had. The sound is good although I'm not sure I would rate them as high on sound quality as others. But I am pretty picky so it might just be me. All and all, they are over priced for wireless headphones so I recommend getting them refurbished rather than brand new. But if you don't mind spending he money, the are worth it for working out.

I was originally hesitant to get these headphones at first, but after reading countless reviews I decided to give them a try. The main reason I was hesitant was because of the price. My decision to finally purchase was due in part to the fact that I got them while on sale and saved around 70.00. I use these headphones a lot while working around the house such as cutting grass and washing cars. Even with all the movement, they stay in place the whole time. They sound great though the bass is not as deep as other Beats products. Be mindful that you do have to get these to fit just right for optimal sound quality. Overall, these are a great set of headphones.
