Beats by Dr.Dre Powerbeats2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased these for my husband. He has been enjoying them up until now. Unfortunately on one the ear piece loop the rubber has come away from the meal and he can no longer use hem. What can be done about this?

Not impressed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wireless and phone capability is excellent, sound quality is okay. For this purchase, I relied on my previous experience with over-the-ear Beats headphones, which are known for a very full and crisp sound, but these earbuds don't deliver the low end punch I had hoped for, nor do they isolate the outside world sound very well. The different buds that come with the package must not have fit my ears very well. Sound quality was crystal clear, just didn't seem like a full range of sound like I was expecting. I listen mostly to Rock/Metal, and I don't expect booming bass, but I expect to hear a full range of tones. These earbud headphones just didn't deliver for the price.

Great sound but poor materials
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound but the product material is poor quality. I've had these 9 months and in that time both earpiece have broken off from the assembly.

Overpriced low budget
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was not happy at all with these headphones. The sound is ok but the loudness is terrible. They are not loud at all very low volume.... I could still hear everything in my outside surroundings

Poorly constructed.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The volume/mic assembly fell apart under the most minimal of usage. Sadly, it happened a day after the 15 day period had expired. I was able to reassemble the busted part using a popular glue but I feel I shouldn't have had to do so with such a supposedly premium offering. High hopes surely dashed.

Mediocre headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mediocre headphones and a price of quality ones. The wrap around ear was comfortable but sound quality was just not there. If i got the ear pieces in far enough for good volume the bass was way too loud and droned out any other notes.

Terrible just stop working on the 17th day
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Buyer beware ! Purchased from Best Buy in Southfield Michigan. On the 17th day after I purchased them they stop working. Tried to exchange in the store but met with condescending horrible customer service. I was told there is no exceptions to the 15 day return policy. I was told I could take them to their Geeks Squad, which could take up to 30 days to repair, or go to the Apple Store. And there was nothing else they could do. Buyer beware

Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these headphones a month ago. All of a sudden they stopped working. I went back to Best Buy to exchange them and was told they can only send them to apple to get them fixed. Now I have no head phones for at least two weeks.

!!!The Beastly beat's Defeat!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not going to get to much detail here. Just know that I had to return my pair after 2wks. As if I would of read the reviews 1st I wouldn't of had to worry about that problem, as they would of never been purchased. I held off for the 2yrs they came out to see if they were worth all the hype. Annnnd Yeah, Not for the person who is trying to get it in at the gym & in that case at all. Do. your HW on any of these wireless EarjoY's, because nothing is worse than being in mid workout and your Beastly beats decide to submit to defeat!! P.s These Dre's are all monster cable products....and maybe that's why monster CABLE......not wireless!!

Beats finally starting to care about substance!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think by now most logical people know that Beats has typically been a style over substance at a premium price company. Their last few devices starting with the Pill XL to the Studio Wireless to the Solo 2 and now the Powerbeats2 have significantly changed that approach with a much better emphasis on substance now. I have these 4 devices and could not be more pleased with them, I am glad to add the powerbeats2 to the collection. At 200$ they are on the highest end of the sports Bluetooth spectrum but you do in fact get quite a rich and balanced sound for it with about as secure and light fit as I've seen in the category. I have frequently tried whatever this category offers up and have aggressively tried to replace my jaybird bluebud x's for which I personally struggle with to get a secure fit that stays once I get moving around at the gym. Sets like these are very fit dependent to operate well and fits are very subjective to each individual. For me, I didn't get the noise isolation of the bluebuds but then I didn't have to fiddle constantly to maintain the fit while at the gym like I do with the bluebuds as well. The Powerbeats2 sounded louder, fuller, more balanced while the bluebuds had much more emphasis at the lower frequencies. Both sound great though and have no other equal in this category. The audio differences while not negligible, are not day and night either. I thought more than the others, the powerbeats2 had a decent sound even when not securely fitted, sealed unlike my experience with the blueant pump hd. I miss the complete seal, noise isolation I could get with the bluebud x's fitted with comply tips, but then the more balanced, fuller sound of the powerbeat2 while having a fit I am not constantly fiddling with have these as my Bluetooth exercise set to beat....Everyone will have different experiences with these sets as it's all about the fit. I have had better fits but I've never had a fit to where I don't have to fiddle with it again and again and I've never had a fit to where even if not completely sealed, the set still sounds very decent. The Powerbeats2 addressed these issues for me and after working with the bendable earhooks a bit, my seal has gotten much better as well. In time I will explore if I can get comply tips for these(the bluebud x ones are too big) and I believe it'll then become my perfect set.

Update
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had previously reviewed these headphones on 1/29/17. Since then they stopped charging as of last Saturday. Simply put, these are awful and not worth the hassle. I had tried these same headphones in the past, and did not hold up at all. I received this pair as a Christmas gift and should have returned them immediately. These did not last even last two months. Not to mention the customer service I received today when I tried to return them-hands down the worst. Best Buy has always been great to deal with, especially when a device has gone down so close to being purchased. Not this time, and frankly I do not know if I will be back.

Too big and loose
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to return after trying to get these to fit snuggly on/in my ears. They were way loose and would fall off if I moved around. My 13 yo daughter also tried them and felt the same way. Maybe they need a smaller size option.

Good Sound, would totally recommend
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently bought these headphones after doing some research and clearly there is nothing much out there in the market if you want to stay with a good brand name. Bose doesn't make a wireless headphone which is sporty and easy to wear, rest there are a million out there that I would not trust my money with. These are reasonably good headphones if you are looking for a good sound. They are loud, comfortable to wear and the sound is pretty decent for a wireless headphone. The bass is not too good. If you listen to subwoofer then it may disappoint you a little but for the most part the sound is good but could have been better. If you are in the market for a wireless headphone that you can use to listen to music and use it as hands free, then you may want to try these on. I won't disappoint you !

HOLY SH**
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow, this being my first beats product wow is my first answer. All my life I've been a Bose, JBL, Monster, ect. guy. We got my dad a pair of the wireless beats solos for christmas and I listen to those for about 2 seconds and was impressed but not blown away. Now I got the wireless JBL syncros for christmas as well. I listen to them and they were good but heart my ears after a while and they stuck out far! After about two weeks of using them I decided they weren't for me. I always look at consumer report and best buy for the best reviews/ideas and the Beats wireless 2 were my next choice. Man these should have been my first! I am writing this review listening to them now and I couldn't be happier. The sound is amazing, fit is perfect and look of course is on point. If your on the fence don't hesitate a bit! Would recommend over and over! Wow is how im ending this bc thats all I can think to say right now!

Bluetooth stinks!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can't have your phone in your pocket or you get nothing but skipping staticky music. The range you can be away from your phone is ridiculous! If I have to hold my phone in my hand the wireless feature is pointless!

Simply the best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before I purchased the Powerbeats 2 headphones I was using the Jabra Sport Pulse headphones. With the Jabra's I never really got the fit I wanted. I often found myself readjusting and pushing the buds into my ears during my workouts - weights, elliptical or treadmill, and running outside. The sound was good and the stats were a nice touch but not enough to make me forget about the constant annoyance of trying to ensure my headphones don't fall out. I sold those and then bought the Powerbeats2. What a great investment. Immediately I realized that the sound was actually much a better than on the Jabra's. The biggest plus was that once I put on my Powerbeats I could completely forget about them. NO MORE readjusting and fiddling with them during my workout, I can finally focus on my workout. Another note, with the Jabra's I was getting an irritation in my ear where the rubber would "rest" while in use, I have not had that problem with the Powerbeats. I'll report back if I notice anything else - positive or negative. While the price is a bit steep, I would still recommend these headphones.

Just the name
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm honestly disappointed in the sound. I was expecting something a little better. They should like regular earphones that came with my phone. As soon as these stop working I will be looking for other brand earphones.

Awesome headphones for everything!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Best Bluetooth Headphones- Powerbeats2 I received these headphones as a gift for Christmas in 2015, and they have to be one of my favorite gifts I got that year. They work great for everything from casual walking to vigorous workouts. I also use them as everyday headphones for studying, and have even listened to a movie in them. The Powerbeats2 even have a built-in microphone if you would like to talk on the phone through them. One of my favorite things is the Bluetooth component and not having them annoying headphone cords everywhere. It is extremely handy in almost all aspects. I have had original beats solos, a few pairs of headphones, and a different pair of Jaybird Bluetooth ear buds before the Powerbeats2. Many of these other headphones have long annoying cords that always get in the way, or they are not comfortable and always fall out of your ear. The powerbeats2 exceed the competition in all of these areas. • Price • Sound quality • Practicality • Comfort • Battery life Price- $109 can be a decent amount of money for a pair of headphones, but if you use them enough, they are definitely worth their price. Plus, they are much cheaper than many of the other styles of headphones, and the same price as the Jaybird Bluetooth ear buds. Sound quality/volume- the quality is about as good as it gets and is always very clear. It has a much higher quality than any other pair of ear buds I have had, and even compares close to the “better” and more expensive pair of the over-the-ear beats headphones. They are clear enough and loud enough to where you can almost always block out every outside distraction. Practicality- very small and come with a protective carrying case that could fit in your pocket. Easy enough to take anywhere and the powerbeats2 being cordless has made a huge difference in just making them easier and more practical to use during almost every activity. I actually can’t thing of an example where you would ever rather have a corded pair of headphones. Comfort- the powerbeats2 are extremely comfortable to wear. I can wear them for hours without my ears hurting. The wrap-around-your-ear style makes them very easy to wear, and they evade the problem of them falling out of your ear like many ear buds do. I always wear them while I work out and I have never had a problem with them falling out or being uncomfortable. Battery- as you can see, the headphones can’t be plugged into your phone so they need a power source. The power source is a battery that usually lasts between 5-6 hours, and then needs a charge. 5-6 hours doesn’t seem like a lot, but the charge has never ran for me in a single day before, and I just charge them every night with my phone. Plus, it only takes around an hour for them to fully charge. Them being cordless and Bluetooth definitely makes up for having to charge it. If you are a music fan, work out freak, or just need a pair of headphones for everyday use, the Powerbeats2 are a great choice! If you have ever owned a product from Beats you know they can be slightly expensive, but the quality certainly exceeds the price with the powerbeats2. Overall, these are great headphones and would definitely recommend them to anyone! If you have any other questions, feel free to leave a comment. Thanks for reading!
