The non slip sport application works very well. Phone calls handle well. Unfortunately the music has no bass level so this area is well below average (disappointing). Also unable to skip songs.

Beats are great if you don't what a product to last a long time. They are expensive and normally die shortly after the 1 year warranty expires.

Amazing sounding & comfortable wireless headphones

After trying Jaybird Bluebuds X (continuously fell out of my ears while running) and the Motorola S11 HD (not comfortable and not very well built) I picked up the Beats Powerbeats 2. I had been in search of a bluetooth sports headset to use while running and at the gym after my wired Powerbeats' in-line volume control broke. I loved the Powerbeats but these were not out yet so I went through set after set. When one of the earbud swivels on the Motorola broke, I went in (with my protection plan) to replace them but found that Beats came out with these wireless ones; needless to say I was ECSTATIC! Got them right away, did the initial charge and was on my way. I cannot say enough about the comfort of these headphones. There is just enough pressure to keep them securely around and inside my ear without making anything pinch or be painful at all. The adjustable cable that goes behind my neck is so light and thin that I don't even know it's there. A noticeable difference (aside from the wireless part) that I have found on these from the wired Powerbeats is that the in-line microphone/volume control system is much more solid. The original one kind of rattled and felt like it would fall apart but this one is very well built and feels solid and durable. My only complaint is the price. I suppose the price is fair for the quality and features, I just find it very difficult to pay $180 for a pair of headphones. That being said, if you are able to drop that much (or can use some Reward Zone Certs) I very highly recommend that this be the set you get! I am unable to comment on the battery life at this time but I have been pleased so far. Have only put about 3 hours of use on my first charge and have not gotten a red light (low charge) yet.

I have not had the Power Beats 2 for even 6 months and it is messing up. They are turning off out of no where. At first they work very well but recently I don't know what happened.

Ended up returning them. Even with the different "eargel" choices I coudlnt' get them to sit comfortablly in there w/o worrying they'd pop out. They're also a touch on the bulky side.

Maybe I have a weird shaped head or ears but these just didn't fit right. Comes with different sized tips but none worked. I returned this item and went with the Beats over-ear headphones.

I had bought the PB2 wireless earphone having good experience with others Beats products. This PB2 and the subsequent PB3 were both disappointing. Simply put it, I am on my fourth pair (replaced under warranty) since 9 months ago. I do confess using it for exercise in addition to daily routine usage. I am gentle with my electronics. But with IPX 4 rating, it did not perform well when exposed to sweat and should not be advertised as "water resistant". However, I am assuming routine, not active usage should be fine. Nice sounds.

I've purchased three Dr Dre Beats products and two of the three have had to be repaired and all repairs involve the battery. The Dr Dre Powerbeats (wireless earphones) cost you $99 or 1/2 retail price to repair after your one year warranty. Buy only if you only care if the product works for one year. Otherwise there are more reliable products on the market.

I had the over ear noise cancelling $350 Beats and my dog ate them..loved them..you could stand next to a train going by and only hear music..they were comfortable..battery lasted a long time and I could leave my phone locked in a locker at the gym and workout..go in the sauna..50+ feet away and stay connected..the powerbeats in ear were another story...15 feet and sound would break up..I could hear turn signals in the truck flashing while volume at max.No bass tones at all unless I put my finger on my ear and shoved buds in.Over ear at max volume..you could not stand..buds..was loud..tolerable but all you hear is cymbals..snare drum..no bass or rhythm or low tones..for the $150 price I'm going to bite the bullet and return the in ear for another over ear set

Do not like the fit. Tried all three sets of ear pieces and can not get a to fit confortably. They continuously slip out during workouts so I went back to my old wired in earphones.

My Beats were the perfect headphones for me to have during my workouts and runs. Then after a few months they just fell apart. I am very disappointed in this product.

They are decent. I've had better for half the money. When I have my phone in my back pocket they skip continuously. I would expect better from a couple hundred dollar headphones.

The headphones have good sound, feel durable in the hands, and the battery is good for an average user. The only things I don't like are that the headphones need a little more punchy bass, and the case and charging cable could be a little bigger. Overall, the combination of style and sound quality is worth the purchase.
