I have owned a pair of original PowerBeats 1 (corded) for over a year and they are awesome. Loud, crystal clear sound and I would highly recommend them and have. So when I saw the new wireless PB2 I was pumped. I got them for Christmas for about $200 bucks which is twice the price of my original PBs. So my expectations were double you could say. Boy was I shocked when I put them one. On full volume they are about a tenth as loud as my old set. I spent over an hour trying to get them louder and thinking I had a volume limit set on my iPod. Unfortunately I did not! They are not noise canceling either and the mildest of ambient noise can be heard while listening to them on full volume. I am so disappointed in Dre's Powerbeats 2. If you like your music clear and loud DO NOT buy the PB2 or you will be VERY disappointed. As far as syncing quickly, being stylish and very comfortable they are really nice. The overall built quality is also nice but the sound volume and music quality is horrible. I would rate it at most a 1 out of 10. After deciding they were not for me I gave them to my seven year old who seems to love them and I will NEVER have to worry about him listening too loud or damaging his ears. I guess that's good - right? So if you want a very sleek, comfortable, wireless set of $200 dollar earphones with a maximum volume of at most the next to the lowest volume setting on a 10 dollar pair of Skullcandy's the Power Beats 2 are for you. As for me I'll stick to my originals or my Bose headphones. I would not recommend them to anyone unless you are wanting to get your small children a $200 dollar pair of earphones and don't want to EVER worry about them listening to their music too loud. It can't be done with these.

With the Comply tips, they are nearly perfect!

Bought and returned many wireless headphones over the months hoping to find something worth the money and comfortable. Powerbeats2 with the premium Comply foam tips are an amazing pair for each other. The Comply tips expand and conform to your inner ear to give an amazing seal and great sound, while the ergonomics of the Powerbeats2 providing comfort and support, so they never fall out. Silicone tips for me are prone to slipping out when workouts get remotely sweaty, and tend to give me that plugged feeling when pushed in. In comparison, the Comply tips feel well placed and provided enhanced sound quality. The pack I got was the variety pack which included specialty tips for Isolation, Sport, and Comfort. Powerbeats2 is on sale right now from Best Buy for only $120 since the 3's are nearly here, however the only notable difference is battery life. Add the $15 Comply tips and you are set, they really take the pair of earphones to a better level. Silicone tips no longer compare. My only complaint with the unit is that it will uncommonly cuts out when I turn my head wide left. I actually prefer these over the Jaybird X2 and newly released Freedom. With my setup, you save nearly $30-$70. The Jaybirds are a great product, however over time they kept falling out despite having 21 different sized earfins and tips. The Powerbeats2 alone are a "good" product, however with the added Comply tips, they are great! Powerbeats2 by itself: 7.5/10. Powerbeats2 with Comply: 9/10.

I can play basketball, hockey, softball any sport with my phone away from me so I don't drop it and the sound is amazing, nothing gets in the way of playing and they don't fall out. When I bought them I didn't think I would love them so much. They have amazing sound quality and you can't feel them when they are on you. Before you get these you never feel the experience of amazing sound going right into your ear.

Very good design for short runs, not for extended

Very decent sound and design for a short runs or duration of activity. However for extended wear the ear pieces while stable start to collect perspiration in the ears and eventually become uncomfortable due to individual weight and rubbing and support on ears. For extended wear a vertical in ear headband ( sony mdr- w08 or sonxtronic xdr-8000 ) which takes the weight off the ears and doesn't collect sweat is prefered. Over all though a solid choice for the occasional exerciser where price is not a determining factor. The over all look to the unit is very attractive.

    Best Bluetooth earbuds I've owned

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I've tried several different Bluetooth ear buds, but always felt the sound quality was lacking. The Powerbeats Wireless 2 are definitely the best I've ever used. They've got more bass than any of the competition and pretty good battery life. My only complaint is that I wish the wire was a few inches longer. Sometimes an ear bud will get pulled out when I'm twisting or turning my head.

    Very comfortable headphones

I purchased these headphones after I returned my Plantronics headphones ( The most uncomfortable, heavy headphones I have ever worn). Well I have not had an opportunity to try them at the gym, I did have them on at home while doing some chores around the house. Let me tell you, they were incredibly comfortable! The fact that they came with four ear tips to choose from, was the icing on the cake. The only concern I had, was I was unable to purchase the Best Buy warranty for these headphones. Hopefully they are heavy duty and able to withstand my rigorous fitness regimen.

    Solid pair of Bluetooth headphones

I bought these for my girlfriend and she really likes them. She let me listen to them and I personally enjoyed the sound quality. I tend to be very picky when it comes to sounds and music, so thse headphones definitely passed in my book. The only thing that would make this product better is if there was a way to adjust the ear pieces. I like that they come with different sized ear buds but as far as the piece that goes around your ear, they aren't adjustable unfortunately and not everyone has the same ear size.

Hey all you see is beets by dre every where. Had to find out what all the noise was about. No noise just crisp clear sound out of these earbuds. They are the best sounding ear buds I have ever heard. They are light weight for there size and comfortable. Controls are a little clunky but the sound is really good.

Had my pair for about a Year. Work perfectly fine. I've been to the gym with them played basketball, handball with them on and no problems. Only recently i was cleaning the earbud with a qtip and pushed in too hard and broke the little barrier i guess you call it. But i still have my warranty from before they stopped issuing them. So ill be getting a new pair. Sound is good too. Works with both APPLE and ANDROID. I recommend. Dnt listen to the bad reviews those are just people that dnt know how to take care of their stuff lol.

These are awesome. I traded up to the original powerbeats (wired) because my old earbuds died. Eventually they died as well because thats what electronic do. After experiencing the beats power, I had to have the wireless version. NO LOSS IN SOUND QUALITY, possibly better because they stay in place without my phone yanking them out of my ear. Couple of drawbacks: the range could be better, and the additional warranty is no longer available for beats from best buy. Still, worth every nickel, and will buy again.

Very good pair of headphones, worth the money.

First, I will say that I'm not a fan of Beats headphones at all, I personally think they are overpriced and a lot of money just for the namesake. I normally buy Bose only headphones when i do decide to spend a lot of money on a pair of headphones. i took a chance in buying these headphones and i am very happy i did. First, they are very durable, and for the most part comfortable. ive dropped them and even stepped on them and they he not broken, the ear hook part has kind of deformed but then again, i stepped on it. otherwise its very nice and secure on the ear. i know beats is known for its sound and in my personal opinion i thought there was always better, but i will say this is one of the best headphones in ears iI'veever had. bass is very very impressive, and highs are also just as high. the style and color are very nice and though at first i was worried about them being too bulky for me, they aren't and in fact i like the size of them. overall one of the few beats i would say is worth spending the money on if you use it to workout run or do things in general music.

I purchased these for my fiancé as a Christmas gift (whom I previously bought the 1st powerbeats for). He has used them a few times thus far and really enjoys them. The sound quality is good, though it doesn't seem to get as loud as the original PowerBeats, not that this is a bad thing! The connectivity seems to work just fine thus far, but we will see how they hold up over time. So far, very happy with this product! And I love that it comes in more than just standard black/red.

These are great quality and sound. Nice and stylish. My only complaint is for the price they don't even include the cube for charging. The headsets come with everything needed and aren't much more in price. You would think these would come with everything necessary for use.
