    Sound like a tin can

I'm giving these three stars. Pros: They work fairly well without a lot of signal drop outs. I haven't had any with my gym visits. I wear them for about 2 hours straight. Charged them fully before each visit. They fit ok. They look good. Cons: Anyone that thinks these sound good has no idea what good sounds like. They have worse sound quality than cheap earbuds that came with my iPhone 4. BAD, REALLY BAD. At $200 you really have to wonder where your money went. I'm keeping mine because I don't feel there is a better alternative with in ear wireless headphones. I wish there was.

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas for when she works out at the gym. She loves them. I may have to get me a pair if they go on sale. I have some JayBird wireless earbuds but I think I like these a little better.

Ok, But with a few catches

So I am up on technology and at first use was impressed with the powerboats 2 wireless, but then after further use I am contemplating my purchase. Here is the setup: * iPhone 6 Plus * Apple Watch * Powerbeats 2 Wireless So in the gym I have used these, no problems and loved it... could do the elliptical with no problems (but note that the device was in the cup holders of the device and about chest height. It was fantastic! Clear sound, not catches all good! The glitch came in when I used these outside. I put my iPhone 6 plus from its otter box in the belt clip on my right hip. I then started the powerboats and started walking. Each time I raised my hand close to the left ear bud to adjust the placements, or sound I got sound distortion. If I took the phone out of the case and then put it back on my hip sound distortion... After about 30 minutes of a walk I found out that the blutooth receiver was in the left ear... Each time blocked it would distort. Or if I covered my phone in the otter box with my hand distortion... If however the phone was closer to the left earbud all would be good! (Note I'm only 5' 11" and no metal plates from surgery or anything... But this is poor... I know bluetooth has a better range than this and I'm very discouraged for the cost of the product... With this I'm not sure what to do... I love the sound, but not impressed by this issue when walking outdoors and I'm not about to switch my phone side... I always carry on the right side during my day, in the car and while walking. This is just poor!! Couldn't they have done dual blueish so that regardless of what side you wore your phone it would pick up equally... not if I block my left ear bud?? I'm thinking and might return... I would warn others about this and might have the hunch to not recommend these in the future...

I really love these headphones! They make exercising so much easier. My only complaint is that sometimes they don't want to connect to my Mac but I usually just turn my bluetooth off then back on and that fixes the problem.

Good not Great and How to fix the delay issue

    Posted .

The headphones are very good for what they are made for which is working out and various other outdoor activities. The sound quality is very bass heavy which is expected from Beats but the mid and high notes are muffled as compared to other high-end earbuds. Most people will probably like this due to the volume and type of music they listen to during routine work outs. If you are looking for headphones primarily to work out in then these are great but if they are going to be your only headphone I'd keep looking especially at this price point. In regards to the big issue of the delay in audio when watching video content on the iPad or iPhone, there is a fix to this. When viewing the video content, in the lower right corner of the screen tap the button that displays where to have the audio sent and switch it to the iPad/iPhone and then switch it back to the Powerbeats and the problem should be resolved. Hope this helps.

    Music yes, Video no

Disappointed. Positive: comfortable, good sound quality (unless you're a pure audiophile), easy to use for charging, inline volume/play/pause/voice control works well Negative: I have an iPad with iOS 8.1 installed and the video playback and sound are always not sync'd. The sound is always 1-2 seconds behind the video. Very annoying. They're comfortable and light. When playing music from my iPhone 6 or my iPad the music plays instantly when going from track to track. But for some reason video AND it's accompanying soundtrack don't play back together. I went to youtube, CNN, Fox, and played videos directly stored on my devices, all with the same results. I tried resetting the headphones. Turned off and on my iPhone. For $200 these should be flawless technologically. This is a basic function of WIRELESS headphones. I bought them for running and use at the gym. They stand up well for gym use but I also use my iPhone for watching news or movies while I'm running or on the tread mill. I shouldn't have to go to my locker for a wired pair of earbuds. The whole point was to not be connected to my device to prevent it from being accidentally pulled from it's resting place. I have a few more days before my return deadline. I'll keep them for now but if there isn't a firmware or iOS update before then, they're being returned. Time to set a reminder on my calendar. The best example of the syncing issue is to watch the latest Foo Fighters video, Something From Nothing on YouTube. The words on the screen appear the instant Dave sings them. But you'll note the sound in the earbuds are delayed. Switch between speaker playback and powerboats playback and you'll see a distinct difference.

    Workout with the best

These are my second pair of wireless buds, I use them primarily to lift and do cardio at the gym. I love how they are lightweight, the button is easy to use, and they stay out of my way. The fit isn't perfect, but better than most. The back of my ears can get sore, but this is after 2+ hours of wear. The charging is fast, the low battery warning is great, I can get 2 full workouts in without a charge. I highly recommend.

I'm outside a lot, walking and biking. The cord for regular earbuds often gets in the way and causes the pods to come out of my ears, especially when they rub against my scarfs and hoods here in cold MI. Not with these! They paired to my apple products with no problem, stay in my ears, great sound, and are comfortable for hours. I've had them for 3 months with no issues. Love them.

The sound on these is really good. It was also very easy to pair up with my iphone6. When the phone is near the headphones and not moving, the reception is great, but sometimes when I'm walking I can hear some annoying interruption that ends when I restart the headphones. The price was good because I bought them on sale. They are also comfortable and light.

    Not worth the money

I had high hopes for these as they were "name brand" and a bit expensive. I tried to get a different color and was told the sale was only on the black and reds, whatever bought em anyway and tried them for about 2 weeks. Cons: Price, for regular price of $200 there should nothing to find wrong. The amount of bass was really disappointing. I tried all the bud styles for a day or two each and they were all similar. The largest ones performed the bast but were the least comfortable. There is little phone control, just phone pickup and volume. No way to skip songs on inline control, for this price there should be another inline for this. Motorola had it 6 years ago on theirs for $99. They do not fit well enough for bike or motorcycle riding, the wind will be what you hear the most. They will not stay on your head if you go faster the 20 mph. I had them fly off my head twice. The rubber plug for charging is flimsy and does not stay in well. The rubber coating on the cables makes them seem durable but gets snagged on your skin if dry. This makes them want to pull out of your ears at times. Pros: The battery life was good, I used them for up to 5 hours without issue. They are comfortable and did not hurt after long use. The box is nice and they come with a nice carry case. Bottom line, for the price they are not worth it. I returned them and went back to my wired Skull Candy Titans.

I had been in the market for a pair of wireless headphones/earbuds as I work out a lot and wired headphones get in the way a lot. So, after hours of watching review to find the best I ultimately went with beats even though some say that they are just a "show" brand and not a quality brand nut from what I've collected over the course of one week I am completely satisfied with the quality of them and happy.

Great for the GYM, ; not for cell phone

These wireless Earbud was a requested X-Mas gift for my husband. However; I am very disappointed w/ them when they are being used for talking on the cell phone (The sound is muffled, and the person on the other end sound far away). Now; if you are using them for working-out or listening to music; than they will be great, b/c the sound is crystal clear. I would not recommend them for cell phone usage
