Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only upside to these earbuds is that they're wireless. Other than that, they're not worth the price! I read reviews talking about "too much" bass and low quality highs. Well the low quality highs is correct, but the "too much" bass is far stretched. I've owned $30 earbuds with far more bass than these. Even my urBeats sound twice as good as these, and they're half the price now. They sound better than the Jaybirds I had, but that's still not saying much since the Jaybirds were horrible.

Not worth the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my first pair of Beats headphones and upon my coworkers recommendation, past online reviews, and the brand itself I decided to shell out $130 bucks (includes tax) for these wireless headphones. After charging and synching it to my phone (both tasks were fairly easy as expected) immediately I could tell something was wrong when I listened to the first song. The volumne is to low. You cannot hear anything, no bass at all. Since these aren't noise cancelling I can't imagine using these outside, only in a quiet room I guess. I planned on using these at the gym to replace the my cell phone factory headphones but apparently my free corded factory samsung headphones are a thousand times better. Don't waste your time and money. Btw you get multiple ear piece sizes, tried them all and didn't help. In fact it was very uncomfortable. Trust me, don't buy it!

Beats Bluetooth
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was excited to finally pick up a pair of these fashionable Bluetooth headphones, but that excitement dwindled quickly. They loose connectivity A LOT and the music becomes choppy (that's with the phone just in my pocket while walking). The rubber cord that connects the pieces pulls the hair on the back of neck. The fit is not great, even with the different size ear cups. Lastly, the sound quality (possibly due to the fit) is certainly not indicative of a 200.00 set of headphones, IMO.

Powerbeats 2—Disappointing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I couldn't get these to fit properly. I tried every one of the silicone tips included in the box, but none were comfortable. Note: I have no problem with the wired Beats In-Ear buds. Needless to say, the audio quality I experienced with Powerbeats wireless was poor. Very thin sounding. Weak base. Didn't do an effective job in cancelling out extraneous noise. I could hear the background noise at the gym, the clanks and grunts. Very disappointing. Returned them after a week.

If only it lasted...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these earbuds in February because I wanted the freedom to workout without having to worry about cords hanging from my ear. These were the best earbuds that I've ever owned, hands down. The sound is like no other earbud that I've tried and good music is a must-have to keep me motivated to complete my workout. All was working fine for the first 3 months. The first problem I encountered was the volume down button stopped working in the middle of my workout. I went online looking for a solution and was able to reset it. Next, my music started breaking up while running and my volume up bottom stopped working. I was willing to overlook that because I liked these earbuds that much. However, yesterday I guess the powerbeats finally died. I could not get them to come on. I've charged them, I've tried all the button pressing combinations that I've read online and nothing works. It's only been 7 months and I expected for these to at least last 1 year given the cost. Needless to say, they are going back and I don't think I'm going to waste my money on purchasing another pair.

Good sound quality could be better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the best for running and working out. The sound quality is not where it should be they are a little tin canny. You hear way more highs than lows.

Sounds great, but too fragile
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your're sitting and not doing anything, these sound amazing, fit well, and look great. I love repping the name for sure, but this is my 4th pair I've bought brand new at full price and they all break on me. I'm not rough with them either. They are very expensive so i did my best to take care of them every time i used them. More then most would. i have a towel to dry my head while i'm on the tread mill at all times, and i store them in the container they come with when not in use. This particular pair I've purchased twice and they broke the first time by not fully being sweat resistant. The second time i purchased this pair, the button jammed. This was the more common problem with dre beats. My other over ear dre beats had the same issue. the on/off switch eventually snaps/breaks internally or it jams. I just didn't expect within a couple weeks.

Short on delivery for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first pair of Beats and I'm non too happy. I checked most of the reviews and tested the complaints indicated. It's true there's a audio lag when using the headsets with video source of any type. When I purchase a product I expect full use of performance, there's no if, and or but about it. This is a major disappointment - I can only use it for one media source. The ear tips are nice, but lacking variety for a user to find the proper fit. I tried to using ones from my other IEM's, but the attaching hole are to small. So, I never got the fit I needed and the sound losses due isolation and lack of bass. I also notice a strong forwardness in the highs, too bright for me. My experience of knowing sound comes from owning Shure SE530, SE846, Westone UM2 and Klipsch S3. I return the Powerbeats to Best Buy and purchased the Jay Bird Bluebuds X. The first thing I notice was that they are lighter. Tested them to see if there was any video lag.....NONE. But I ran into a bump in the road again with fit. Luckily I had some other extra ear tips that attached to the Bluebunds X and I was in nirvana, only from the perspective that this was the best Blu Tooth headset I had to date. And the X;s are $30 cheaper. Go figure!

WARNING: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased these in March. Was looking for a great sounding pair of wireless ear phones for use at the gym. Had an LG Bluetooth headset that hung around my neck and was inconvenient while working out. Heard good things about Beats headphones and am happy with my BeatsPill. So I went ahead and spent the $200 (I see the price is now down to $120, you'll read why in a moment). I loved them when I got them. The ear hook design was perfect for me. They never got in the way when doing sit-ups. And they were loud. Never got around to using the microphone on them. The 1st thing that failed on them was the power switch. They do not turn on very easily. Eventually I could not turn them on and they would not charge. When Best Buy did not offer an Product Protection on this at checkout I should have seen that as a red flag. Took them to the Apple Store. Few days later they sent me a replacement (re-manufactured) pair. About 2 months later, the volume control stopped working. And I could only turn them on/off with my iPhone. Finally went back to Apple Store. Sent me another replacement pair a few days later. Picked them up on Labor Day. Worked out next morning. Stopped working and would not power back up after 40 minutes. Went back to Apple Store (less than 24 hours after picking them up). Manager decided to give me a brand new pair out of the box from the Apple Store. Took it off the shelf, opened the box, and gave them to me. I had already lost faith in the product and had a feeling I would be sending them back eventually. But they worked for about a week. Yesterday, I noticed volume control was not working properly. Anytime I noticed sweat around the volume control, I would dry it off. Today they would not turn on. Tried charging them at home, but they would not. STRIKE 3. THIS PRODUCT IS OUT! Going to Best Buy now to buy another set of headphones from another manufacturer, as I need a reliable pair. It clearly has a poor design, as evidenced by many of the bad reviews I've seen online. They say they're sweat proof. The ear buds are, but the Achilles heel is the volume control, which is not, as well as an unreliable power switch. If you work out only one or two days a week, don't sweat much, and like name brand products, I would recommend this. If Apple gives a 4th pair of these, I will only use these when I'm not working out.

Terrible earphones for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Many poor features to these earphones. Where do I start. 1 - The mic is probably the worst part of the earphones. Whether you keep them on the back of your neck or the front, it will not pick up your voice when talking to someone on the phone. On the iPhone, Siri cannot understand a word I'm saying even when speaking directly into the mic. 2 - The hook that goes around your ear is stable but hurts your ears after only 20-30 minutes of usage. It brings so much stress just by wearing them. 3 - Sound quality is a 3/10. My Apple earphones that came with my iPhone have better sound quality and the bass is 10x better. I couldn't tell if I had purchased Beats by Dre or Beats by Trey. I wish there was a way to rate this less than 1 star.
