    So far so good

Just bought these mostly for the battery life since I have the previous version. The sound seems good but I did prefer the previous case that would come with. I worked out with them once and after some adjustments to the cord they were good to go.

    Another great beats headphone

These are my 4th set of beats: original studio, urbeats earbuds, wireless studio and now PB3 and they are right on par with the rest as far as sound and quality. Anyone that says the sound is no good is crazy. I have tried several different Bluetooth earbuds and these are without a doubt beads and shoulders above the competition including Bose. I hesitated to spend a lot on workout headphones so I used some cheaper knockoff brands from amazon in the $30 range that weren’t terrible but when I got these for $89 I was reminded how good headphones can sound. If you can get these for a hundo do it. People that say they are cheaply made are probably just too hard on them, I’ve seen the pics and with normal use these would not break so easily. I might get a back up set.

Great Sound - Plenty of Low End - Not Loud Enough

Just picked these up, and love the crisp sound with plenty of low end. If I could just get one or two more notches louder out of these headphones, they would be perfect! I suspect there is some legal reason why they won't allow them to get loud enough - which is lame. You can (and I did) ensure that the right size silicone earbuds are on the headphones - that helps block out surrounding noises. But still not loud enough when you find that one song that you want to immerse yourself into. There are some no-name headphones out there that will get loud enough - if this is a dealbreaker for you. It's right on the verge of a dealbreaker for me, but I will keep 'em.

    They're ok

I had originally purchased a pair of bose wireless headset. The bose headset sounds AMAZING but they don't stay in your ear very well - so, I decided to return them and purchase the powerboats 3. I thought the sound was only ok, no better than the jaybirds x3 and are $70 cheaper. They do stay in your ear no matter what and will not go anywhere. If you are looking for a wireless headset to use during your workouts, than I think beats are the way to go, they hook on to your ear and do not move. If you are looking for a wireless headset with amazing sound, then get the bose, they are ridiculous and the same price.

    Don't Recommend

I purchased these for general personal use and for the gym. The quality of sound is good. The problem is the earloop design. After about 5 months of use one of the earloops broke. It's made a silicone covered wire and I guess after months of flexing back and forth one of the wires finally separated from the earbuds. This didn't affect the quality of the sound but it pretty much made the earbuds useless to use at the gym. I can still listed to them but I have to be at home in a quiet, relaxed setting (reading, watching tv). I don't particularly like the earloop design. Also the rechargable battery has about a 6 hour usespan between charging. Other wireless earbuds have a longer use span between charging (8 plus hours).

    Sounds Good-Fits Terrible-Now Broken

They are everything they say when it comes to sound quality. The fit in my opinion is awful. The earplugs are boxie with hard edges. These are also rather large. To top it off i have had them for 18 months and used them sparingly. The left earbud has separated from the boxie part and has rendered them useless. The cord is flat and wide which sticks to your neck when working out - making it uncomfortable. Contacted Apple & warranty is for one year but they will fix them for $99 plus S&H. Saved the trouble did a review of other earbuds and purchased a different brand which I like much better.

    Wireless. Lightweight. Happy.

I got this by exchanging my Skullcandy smokin' buds. So far i'm happy with my purchase/exchange. I like the fact that i can barely feel the wire resting at the back of my head. Compared to the Powerbeats 2, the control button is better, powerboats 2 has a rubberize one, which my brother had, and it gets worn out easily probably from the sweat. The only let down for me i guess is that the case is rubberized without a zipper, which is a downgrade compared to powerbeats 2, which has a letter one with a zipper. And as for me, i'm using my LG Tone Pro eartip, cause it fit and seals the sound better which gives me a bass feel. So far, i'm happy with this Powerbeats 3, its too convenient for me. I wish they had a skip button too. >:D

The sound quality is wonderful and was so simple to connect my phone. The 12 hr battery life and noise cancellation is why i chose the 3 instead of the 2

Purchased for myself. Great fit and sound. The only drawback is that I cannot advance a song within my music library from the headset as I could from other earphones I have owned.

Sound quality and battery life are very good. I will be using the earphones for running and workouts for around 2-3 hours daily and still the charging will last for a week.

    Worst product I've ever bought

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I never leave reviews for products, but being that these are so terrible I figured I would pass my knowledge on to people thinking about buying these headphones. This product could be the WORST purchase that I have ever made concerning technology. In 2017 I purchased a pair around christmas time for myself to use while working out. I'm not an avid workout enthusiast by any means, but I do like to work on cardio from time to time on a stair climber, treadmill or rowing erg. Over the summer of 2018 I was working out with these for maybe the 5th time and they completely shut off on me. After talking with apple support, and searching online forums, I found out that this issue is a common problem with the powerbeats 3 and I would have to send them in. Being that they were under warranty, I sent them in and they shipped back a new pair (pretty sure it was just a refurbished pair). They worked fine until today. After a 25 minute workout on the stair climber, they shut off once again and exhibited the same habits as the time before. Once again they would not turn on and had a solid red light while charging. After talking on the phone with apple, I told them my issues and that they were the same issues that I had on the product before. They offered to run the same route as last time, FOR A 100 DOLLAR CHARGE. Apparently they had fallen out of warranty by 59 days, and there was no extended warranty on the refurbished pair. After talking with them, there was no way that I was going to pay that price for them just to send me another refurbished pair that will have the exact same problem. I've come to find out that after being marketed as "sweat resistant" and advertised by athletes Lebron James, Serena Williams and many more athletes during workouts that these headphones can't withstand any sweat, coming no where close to being "sweat resistant" as advertised. Apparently working out for 15 minutes on a rowing erg and 25 minutes on a stairclimber is too much to handle for a pair of headphones that I bought for 99 dollars (199 dollars retail price). After all of these years with apple products (3 iPhones, 1 mac, countless pairs of headphones and apple products) I'm ashamed to say that I may have bought my last apple accessory product. Never in my life have I been so upset with a product that I bought, to the point where a company that has had thousands of complaints against this product fails to take accountability for this piece of trash product that they sell. It is even to a point where individuals around the country have filed class action lawsuits against apple concerning this product (a simple google search will show you the lawsuit). If I could give this product a 0 star review, I would. I write this review in hopes that other individuals do not make the same mistake that I did. While the sound quality was good when they were working, this product belongs at the bottom of a trash can, not on the shelves of stores across the world. Feel free to do additional research as well when thinking about purchasing this product (once again, a simple google search). I will be taking my money to Bose products.

I bought the Powerbeats 3, I was wanting an upgrade from the Powerbeats 2. When I first bought a pair at my local Best Buy the product was a defect. The battery lasted 30 min and the sound was very high pitch. I went back to my local Best Buy store and they apologized for the problem and were amazingly helpful. I ended up getting a new pair of the beats, the swap out was free, and they worked amazingly, the battery life was amazing, and this problem was resolved quickly. I recommend these beats to everyone, you cannot home wrong with Best Buy.
