Several members of my family have these headphones and although the sound quality is good - they all stopped charging within 3-6 months of the purchase. One pair stopped after the warranty, paid $100 to Apple for the repair which they sent a new set only for the earbuds to stop charging after 5 months. The repair warranty is only good for 90 days. Out the original cost and the $100 for the repair.

I was looking for a all purpose headset with goods call quality. These were good for Music and call reception. They sounded much better than the Insignia I tried for 39 bucks. However callers said they were worse for mic sound pick up. Sounded like I was in a trunk. These are great for music playback, but not so much for calls. Now its on to try the Bose.

Really impressed with PowerBeats3. Bass quality is amazing. Earpieces fit snugly and sound is impressive. Highly recommended!!

I would give it a minus star if I could. The WORST customer service ever. I’m an engineer & take very good care of all my electronics. This was no exception. The over the ear piece broke off during normal use, I engender made sure to put them in the rubber case that came with it. When I called Beats support explained what happened. I was told that I broke them due to non-normal use!!! I lit was under warranty and I wanted replacement and was told nothing could be done. Needless to say that will be the last beats product I ever buy or have in my home. I went back to BOSE brand, better and their customer service has always been 5 stars.

First, I really like the sound quality and they wear solidly in my ear. However, I have had the earphones for a year and just returned them for the 3rd time. The problem has been the on/off button not working twice and not charging once. Love the product but the electronic quality seems to be very low.

I did extensive research on bluetooth headphones suitable for exercising. The Powerbeats 3 got strong reviews across the board for bluetooth connectivity to apple products and best in class (12 hour) battery life. But all of that means nothing when the headphones simply won't stay in your ears while running. These came out after a couple seconds. When I pushed them back in, they actually sounded great...for a few seconds when they would just come loose again. Then they sounded like garbage. I tried all 4 sets of earbuds and none gave me a tight seal in my ear canal. I recently wore them on a treadmill and after enduring the tinny sound, I went back to my $30 Yurbuds which sounded much much better. These may work for you if you have the right ears but for $200, I expect superior fit and sound and these were incredibly disappointing. Returning them asap.

The sound was good perfect for the gym fit in the ear.

These beats are great. The whole family enjoys them. Especially the wireless ones.

My initial assessment of these headphones a year ago was great, they provide a good quality sound out of a in ear style headphone that is geared towards operating under conditions that are a little more hostile then normal- working out. Over the year I have had a couple complaints. 1.) it seems like whatever I do I can’t find the balance with the wire around the kneck so that the headphones stay and don’t get pulled out of the ear from your neck moving. 2.) by roughly month four, the plastic covering over the volume adjustments fell off which I then wrapped in electrical tape so it would still work. 3) At month nine the headphones decided to turn down the volume on their own intermittently until it goes to completely mute. It seems like this only happens when they aren’t 100% charged, but even the best of us forget to charge every day and it shouldn’t be needed.

Great sound, great fit. no issues so far. I would definitely recommend picking these up.

Its my first time to use Bluetooth headphones and its the best choice

There are several positives to these headphones, and I loved them for the first couple of months of ownership. They do pair easily to your iPhone (though I don't find traditional Bluetooth pairing all that cumbersome). The range is great, so I can leave my phone anywhere in a large room and not worry about a loss of audio quality, and battery life appeared to be as good as promised. However, I have been through 3 pairs of these already and will be visiting my local Apple store today to get pair number 4 because of constant hardware failures. My latest replacement pair lasted less than 2 weeks. I use these primarily as workout headphones for use during strength training and running (30-60 minute workouts). Perhaps its the sweat that is causing them to fail, but they are billed as active wear headphones, so I feel like it is fair to expect them to hold up against normal sweat levels (especially since the product description from Apple states that they are sweat and water resistant for "tough workouts". The errors I have encountered are very consistent: they will work fine, then the volume will fall at some point to a complete mute and from then on I cannot turn them on to pair with any device (the power button just causes a red light to flash a few times). Considering the durability of these and the price point they are offered at, I would consider alternate brands if your primary motivation for purchasing these is to use them for any active pursuits.

Worth the price. Great sound and really good speakers.

Bought these as a gift for my girlfriend and she absolutely loved them!!

I bought these headphone mainly for going to the gym. They are suppose to be sweat proof. The first pair started failing after about 3 months. The would just shut off in the middle of my workout. I would make sure I fully charged the headset and try to immediately take them off the charger. Finally turned them into apple to get another one. After about 2 month second set was doing exactly the same thing. I returned them to apple to get a 3rd set. I have had this 3rd set for 4 weeks now and make sure I clean them after getting home from the gym. They are doing the same thing. I talked to another guy at the gym and he went through 10 sets before he finally switched to something else. When these work they are great. I just wish they worked more than a few months for the price you are paying.

These will never fall out of your ear and stay put no matter the activity!
