    Great while they work

Bought these Feb 2017 by late May they were no longer powering on or charging. I was sad cause they do sound great. After filing a warranty and receiving a replacement they lasted till August 2017. They won't even hold on for 4 months at a time. I am now asking Apple to please replace them with a different model or refund. They must escalate this for approval which almost sounds like it will most likely get denied from the sound of it. So now I am here without headphones waiting for a response. I will update with the outcome.

Quality is not work the money.

I bought these for my husband because of the positive reviews on the sound quality. And in that respect they are amazing. However, I expect a pair of headphones that is advertised by athletes to be able to withstand a standard workout. Every time my husband used them to work out they stopped holding a charge. I think this a design flaw since the charging port is left exposed, but ultimately that's not my issue. The positive thing in all this is that the Beats Customer Service Team has been great to work with...if you call in time, we almost missed our window and then I would've been very upset. We are on our third attempt to get a pair that will last more than one work out. However, I wish BestBuy would be better about taking these back as a return or just providing a comparable product in replacement. I bought this purchase only because I had a deal on my BestBuy credit card and now I fully regret that decision. My time wasted trying to get the quality of product I expect has equalled to more than the amount I paid for the product.

Purchased and sound quality was amazing fit was amazing and battery life was even better. After about a month of heavy use. The sound beagan to cut out. Then they wouldn’t charge. After I sent in and returned to apple over 4 times. All of my devices came back with the same problem. These are one of the most expensive brands on the market and you can’t get them to last past 6-months.

Great sound, extremely poor quality materials.

I got these for working out, and they sounded great and were extremely comfortable. Yesterday, I was unplugging the charger and one of the bases for the ear pieces snapped right in half. There's not much room for places to hold, and I was simply unplugging the cable and they broke. Unfortunately, they are not eligible for Geek Squad BTP, so I'm pretty sure I'm S.O.L. Yet another reason for me to hate Apple.

    Disappointing

Had been in the market for bluetooth headphones for lifting and running. I read a lot of reviews comparing this, the Jaybirds and the Bose. I've been a long time Bose user and I've always read negative reviews about Beats but I went against my own judgement and bought these. The only good thing about these headphones was the battery life. Sound quality was terrible (in every aspect) and was't really comfortable. You're essentially paying for the Beats logo. Needless to say, I'm going back to Bose.

    Unimpressed in comparison to others

First off I am a drummer and have used many In ear monitors and motion is what I truly need. I purchased these because I work outdoors and was in need of a wireless head set with the ability to talk on the phone while working. These are a let down. First the fit is truly lacking. The strap goes around the rear neck which when you sweat it creates friction and drags hence pulling on the bottom of the bottom of the ear piece pulling it out of the ear. The plastic over the ear does nothing to hold this I place it just keeps it from falling on the ground so I am continually placing it back in my ear. The only way I have found to fix this is place the strap in front instead of behind the neck which places the strap directly in my way of motion and looks rather ridiculous. Second the shape of the sound canceling pad is difficult for oddly shaped ears because it is fixed in place so any movement flexes the ear creating continual intermittent outside noise being allowed in. Third the Bluetooth wants to battle between my car for control then doesn’t want to sync and says it “can’t find it”. Overall the sound is fine, seems standard but sadly disappointed. As a musician I HAVE to hear and know what works and what doesn’t and these have let me down in all areas. For $100.00 I would recommend a pair of SHURE in ear monitors. 10x the head phones it just won’t make phone calls or I would have never purchased these. For active lives where you want quality fit and quality sound don’t get these, go to your local music shop.

    Horrible quality

Bought these cause I loved the sound and ear hooks. The control buttons have broke twice and were returned. The most recent malfunction is the wire from ear hook that forms it around your ear has broken thru the insulation and pokes my ear. All three times they have broke just after the warranty expired. Went with Jabra now and love them

    Second time purchase

Had the Powerbeats 2 Wireless, until I lost them was such a fan went to purchase them again. They did not have them so I got the Powerbeats³ Wireless. Off the bat they were bulkier, they didn't have the port cover but they felt slightly sturdier, WRONG. The ear loop popped off, previously had insurance so when I purchased I asked about it and they said they have 1 year Apple care, took it to the Apple store for them to tell me a repair would be 150 and brand new would be 120 at Best buy. Overall wouldn't buy again.

    Bought To Repalce Tones

I bought these to replace my LG Tones because I didnt want anything on my neck. I went back to my Tones....these were just ok. For the price I expected a bit more. They really didnt feel like they would hold up well and the bass, which was another selling point for me, was about the same as my Tones. I would still reccommend but IMO they are overpriced for what you get.

    Connectivity Nightmare

It gets a second star because sound-wise I think it’s a great product. However every time I turn them on to pair with my phone or my laptop it is a 50-50 whether they will actually connect to my device the first time. Then I have to go through the trouble of holding the button to restart them and it is just extremely aggravating. Already looking for a different pair.

    Moves to much

Nice material but doesn't stay in ear while briskly walking , or jogging on treadmill, if you like quality these are not the headphones for you. The constant moving make the earbuds come further out of the ear which distorted the beats quality. The loop serves no purpose to keeping the bud inside ear deep enough for the amazing quality . I tried all the bud attachments. The range of the Bluetooth is amazing no questions I walked away from my phone almost half the gym and stay connected.

    good fit, so-so sound

i am far from an audiophile. was looking for wireless headphones for daily commute, and to replace my plantronics back beat fit, because the battery life sucks on those, as does the mic was excited to get these powerbeats, but after just an hour or so of listening, i am not a fan. the sound is not just bass heavy, but muddy. i did an "ear by ear" comparison of some music on pandora, comparing the PB3 vs Back Beat Fits and even vs my wired Shure SE215s. the PB3 just didn't have that clean sound. theyll be going back

Brand wise, I really expected better. These were just a disappointment. I've had lesser costing brand products that sounded so much better. I'd name them but one of them has horrid service and the other are stingy with earbuds even under warranty. What was really surprising was at how low a volume on an IPAD MINI4 that these sounded like complete blurry crap...

These earphones are not worth the money you spend for them. Not a great sound quality but it fits well and looks durable. It's been 6 months i got this and now it stopped working does not charge properly nor the battery last long. Any earphones from amazon for $30.00 are almost the same as this.

    huge let down

I purchase these headphones hoping the reviews would be inaccurate which I was proven wrong so let's begin I purchase the powerbeats3 on July 14 and today is only the 19th so pro's they sound good with the correct ear tips now the negatives they would pause and play at random, the volume would go up and down at random sometimes too and they are uncomfortable to the point the were digging or cutting into my ear i decided to call apple which advised me they were aware of some of the issues and since it is since in the exchanged point i should return them and get a another pair as they were defected which i thought to myself be an Apple product nutt yes I LOVE their computers and software but not the iPhone so much why would i put myself through pain and reliability issues so I did take them back and got me some JayBird x3's after seeing review and hearing from people who have them who I work out with and straight out the box they somehow sound better are insanely comfortable and a good experience
