If you sweat a lot the volume will go down, pause your music or skip to the next track by itself.

I purchased these from the Apple store as they weren't in stock at Best Buy yet. I am now currently on my 4th pair in 5 months of ownership, as every single pair has stopped working after a few workouts. The problem is with in-line remote. It can't handle sweat, and after a few workouts it will begin to randomly pause, decrease/increase volume, skip tracks, etc. Eventually the in-line remote just won't work at all. Very disappointed.

I was happy with my Powerbeats, until the earhook on my left earbud broke, then my battery stopped charging. Apple would not replace them because I didn’t have the broken earhook. The amount of money I paid for six months of use left me very disappointed to say the least, and now I’m just left with some expensive ear trinkets

I purchased this item less than 2 month ago and they don't work anymore now I have to bring them to apple and have them fix, there are lost if people having the same Bluetooth issue I'm having; some people have gone through several pair of beats courtesy of Apple Store however after the year is up you'll be out of luck with the whole replacement fix deal and out of headphones. Stay away from this product

I have taken really good care of these and have used them at best 50 times in the last year and a half. I went to power them up after a full charge and they would not turn on. I spent 45 minutes in the Apple store to find out that they charge $99 to fix outside warranty. I will never buy Apple again! I am going to Bose and not looking in the rear view mirror.

It stopped working (charging) only two months after purchase. Seems to be a product defect, so getting a new pair will only last for a while, until your manufacturer's warranty runs out. Then you'll probably have to throw them out. If you like throwing $140.00 in the trash after 1 year, go ahead.

If you are a runner and you sweat these are not for you. If you work out and you sweat these are not for you. I have had them less then a year and I have had to sent them to Apple twice. Am an hour into my run and they turn off the box said 12 hours battery life. I want my money back!!!!

Not the best Beats product out there. Battery does not last. Doesn't sweat in your ear properly

Pretty good headphones, but don't expect them to last or any support from Apple. Less than 7 months later of normal use the earhook has broken off and in true Apple nature, it is completely irreplaceable, the whole unit has to be replaced and that is not covered under warranty.

I'm not sure why the Overall rating is 4+ stars. These are not water or sweat resistant despite what the description says. If you sweat it will get into the volume controls and will stop working correctly. If you read the official reviews on the Apple site (the maker of powerbeats) you will see that the actual rating is 1.5 Stars, and my issue is extremely common.

These are by far the most uncomfortable earbuds i have ever owned ive only had them for a day and i all ready hate them. The sound quality isnt any better and the bass is the worst thing i have ever heared. The only way to actually hear the bass is if you where them in a certain way, which is even more uncomfortable. This just shows how apple quality has degraded

Have been hesitant to drop so much money on head phones, finally did and they barely lasted a month. I were them a hour a day at the gym and that’s it. Started cutting in and out, then out for several hours and now they are just shot. Won’t come on, charge, or anything

You would expect that when you spend this much money a product that it would actually last. I only had these headphones for two months before they died. They won't turn back on and won't charge. They are a complete waste of money. You can get similar bluetooth headphones for only $15 that will last longer.

I bought these headphones for the purpose of writing music and practicing bass with music tracks. Unfortunately I discovered that there is a latency (delay) from using bluetooth to transmit the signal, and this makes these headphones useless. Will have to try and sell on an auction site for $40 hopefully.

My Powerbeats 3 simply died at the gym one day, almost exactly 12 months after purchase. They will not take a charge and they are not warrantied. $200 for 12 months = $16.67/month rent. I feel like I've been scammed, like at a budget flea market.

I’ve bought two pairs of these from Best Buy. The first pair they sent wouldn’t even turn on. The next pair last for 4 months and completely shut down. No water damage or anything crazy they just stopped working in the middle of a workout.

Pathetic product. Control Talk button came off after some use (see pic). This is the second time it has happened as the same thing happened with my on-ear beats headphones. Don't waste your money. There are better products in the market. And Apple customer care sucks. They have no concept of customer satisfaction.

Do not buy....you have been warned. Had these right at a year and the volume wont turn up anymore. Tried resetting, updates, etc....contacted Apple and since they are out of warranty they want $99 for a replacement pair (refurbished) plus $6.95 for shipping. SMH what a joke.....$5 heads out lasted these

My powerbeats earphones was replaced 4x until I run out of warranty, it also happened to my friend until she finally gave up dealing with the customer service. Very poor quality and will never buy anything from Beats ever.

On all of them..I've bought Beats Solo, Beats by Dre and Beats X. I was hoping each time faulty product, but 3 separate models? I've figured out the common denominator here is the whole brand.
