They are sweat resistant, and the hooks are the key for keeping the earphones in your ear no matter how rigorous your workout gets. Sound is okay with bloated bass. It's not terrible this time, but it's not bad either. Don't buy these earphones if you're looking for a great sound, but buy these if you're looking for something that will be your workout buddy for a while.

Only down side to these is if you wear a hat and then have glasses on they hurt the top of your ear. Also I had to change the tip that goes in your ear which comes with it because I didn't get a good seal so I could hear a lot of outside noises. So with that said they kinda hurt my ear when I wear them for longer periods of time. Over all I love them and they were a great buy.
