Not the best option for workouts

Owned for 9 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my third pair of Powerbeats in the last two years... the previous two pairs developed issues with the left ear hook falling off of the ear piece. My latest pair is now failing to pair to my phone. Luckily my latest pair are within the one year warranty, but nonetheless very inconvenient to have these fail for no apparent reason. The repair rep asked very detailed questions about my exercise habits, so my guess is that Powerbeats do not hold up well with sweat, even though they are advertised as exercise headphones. I wish they would include a simple flap to cover the charging port and prevent sweat from getting inside...major design flaw!!! This is a shame because the sound is decent and they stay put during my workouts.

(*Now I'm no expert in the details of the capabilities of different technologies.) The one problem I seem to have with 2 different pairs of these headphones is with the actually connectivity via Bluetooth. If you keep your phone in a pants pocket or maybe in a backpack, the connection seems to drop in & out with simple turns off your head.
