The ear plugs are not usefully at all they don't work if you sweat a little it just turns off as the battery is dead then it dries out then it might work sometimes. Also you have to reset the ear plugs every time before it works when the battery is low that is really bad I tried to return it to best buy and they said they will not take it back because it is over 2weeks which does not make sense so I am sick with this junky headset which I bought so that when I work out I can use them. Paying $120 you would think you get a great headset but got a junky one don't buy it. I have to now send and it back to get a refurbish one which is typical apple junk when I paid for a new one.. It is amazing what these company's get away with

I bought these with the assumption that they would be better than the PowerBeats 2, if for nothing else the extended battery life. Nothing could be further from the truth. These are not as good as the PB 2's. Issue 1: The new carrying case is modeled after an old squeeze coin purse. You can't lay them in the case neatly and zipper it up, you have to just cram them in there and hope for the best. Issue 2: The USB port no longer has a cover for it. Issue 3: The controls are almost impossible to find without looking in a mirror or directly at them. I don't have any problem finding each control on my PB 2's by feel alone. I would recommend you buy the 2's instead of the 3's, at least until they fix the above mentioned problems.

These earphones stay in place well while active, but they do not last more than a year with consistent use. They are not worth the $200. I am on my third pair. If this pair goes bad, I’m going to switch to a $30 pair and save my money moving forward.
