I was expecting these to be better, but I occasionally will experience intermittent cracks when listening to music where the sound will go in and out and it's almost hard to even keep using them.

The sound is great, but the quality is really poor. The first pair broke in 3 months, and the second pair lasted 4 months. These where replaced free on charge from Apple. The 3rd pair last 5 months and broke 4 days after the 1 year warranty. When I got into Apple Genius 10 days after warranty ended, they won't replace them. I use the headphones when I run, and apparently they are not very sweat proof. Don't buy them to work out with, because the sweat will short them out.

This Wireless powerbeats are really good and work good but the only reason why it is not 5 stars is because the earbuds breaks easily and the parts come off after 1 year of usage.

The headphones provide excellent sound while they work. Problem is they stop working about 8-10 months after you buy them. This is my 4th and last pair and same issue. First one ear stops producing music and then after about another month or so, the second one stops. I prefer a decrease in sound quality for longer life. My backup headphone set which I have had for over 7 years still works and is my go to between all these Beats pairs.

    great headphones for active user

Today I am here to talk to you all about my great experience with the Powerbeats 3! Headphones are a huge part of my day. From zoning out on my work, to working out at the gym music is one of the most important mediums in my life. When looking for a good pair of headphones there are some important aspects that are a necessity for them to be perfect for different aspects of your life. The Powerbeats 3 hit a homerun on such things as water resistance, sound quality, comfort and practical usage. Many of the aspects of the Powerbeats are perfect for the active and athletic user. I myself am constantly in the gym either lifting or playing basketball. The water resistance aspect is perfect for when you're getting sweaty after a good workout! Another great aspect for an active user is the over the ear grips that don't allow them to fall out like headphones. This is especially useful if you are playing any sort of contact sport that involves jumping or sudden movements. That paired with the wireless bluetooth capability minimizes the use of cords. Cords are one thing that can always get in the way when lifting weights. They at times get caught on machines, free weights, your arms or other protrusions and it can really become a pain. The bluetooth capability is also useful for playing sports because it allows you to set your phone away from you and out of your pockets allowing for more freedom of movement. Lastly and most importantly we get the overall sound quality. One thing that Beats has done so well as a brand compared to many competitors is the level of bass and quality in their headphones. This is the number one most important aspect to me as I would not enjoy headphones if I did not enjoy the sound of them. This area is where the PowerBeats really prevail over everyone else. The base is deep and full of the appropriate amount of vibrations without draining out the vocals of any song. These headphones are best if you listen to Hip-Hop, pop or electronic music but will be satisfactory for every genre. The only area of improvement needed for the PowerBeats 3 is the overall volume of the headphones. They tend to be relatively quiet compared to other brands on full volume and for a active user you use that volume to get the most out of your workout. The positives most definitely outweigh that small negative though and that is why I give the PowerBeats 3 a 5 stars out of 5! These headphones are perfect for anybody with a active lifestyle that loves to enjoy music as the workout.

It's a nice product but if your ear is sensitive and on the small side it will hurt around your ear and inside the ear canal.. not very comfortable even with the smallest tip that came with it.

I really enjoyed my last pair, but they ended up breaking somehow on ear bud stem. Bought new series, do not like how power connection can't be covered or that you can't see battery life on phone like previous series

Good headphones... only a three star rating because I had a little trouble at first with them not wanting to turn off. After resetting them several times, they began to work properly. Other than that, good. Very loud.

As I have an android phone, just didn't seem to work for me. Was hoping for better sound, just didn't work like I had hoped. My daughter has a pair and she likes it. She has an iPhone so it worked like a champ for her.

I have had these headphones for a while but they aren't too durable. I use them a lot when I work out. I guess they've lasted for a couple years but now I need to buy some new headphones.

So far it’s okay, I still need to see if it could handle the test of time. My last 2 Dre beat headphones fell apart after using it a bunch of times. This is the reason why I bought this new pair.

These Beat headphone are my first and I don’t understand what the hype is all about. I do like the fact that it stays in my ear but I can’t wear it for long because it starts to become uncomfortable.

Brought this for my husband. They are not good for noise cancellation. You can still hear everything around you. He only uses them inside the house not able to use while he is cutting grass.

I purchased these headphones assuming the quality was going to be top notch. After all, why would you pay $199 for a pair of wireless headphones when there are other perfectly good sets for under $100 and even some for $50. I used them for jogging and they worked great for the first 6 to 9 months. I did not wear them in wet weather or over use them in any way, but after that, the battery life is shot. They totally don't hold a charge for more than 10 or 15 minutes and are pretty much useless to me at this point. Very disappointing given the brand name and price I paid. I will use another brand going forward.

I had a pair of old beats by Dre like these that I never had issues with at the gym (specifically the sauna) then they broke. I got these and after just 10 minutes of sitting in the sauna they turned off because they overheat so quickly. My AirPods don’t do that and neither did my other pair of beats by Dre. I tried telling the store and they told me I had to contact Apple. When I contacted Apple they said they would send me a package to send the beats by Dre to them for inspection, but never did. I would invest in AirPods at this point if i was anyone else

I was advised that these headphones would provide most of the same features that you get with the iPhone, but i couldn't use them for anything but music and talking on the phone. The bluetooth was not very consistent either with the phone. However, if you have an iphone, Siri comes through great and they are very comfortable. You do get great notifications via the headphones as well. These headphones are DEFINITELY made for iPhone. I would only recommend these headphones for iPhone users.

I expected better sound from these headphone needless to say I am not impressed. The earbuds don’t even fit all the way into my ear even after changing adapters. I should have tried a different brand.
