    Just Awful

These earphones are just awful. As an audio snob and avid runner, I wanted something that could provide excellent sound quality and durability during my long runs and workouts. These did neither. My first complaint is that these stopped functioning properly after six months of regular use. I would randomly lose bluetooth connection, and the sound would increase and decrease for no reason. Additionally, the pause/play button on the control wire stopped working, The audio quality is mediocre at best and nothing better than what you would expect from a FAR cheaper pair of earbuds. The fit is garbage. Despite coming with multiple sized rubber coverings for the in the ear piece, the over the ear hook does not adjust and therefore, if your ear isn't large enough, there is space between your ear and the hook. This space, combined with any physical movement, also the hook to swing easily ultimately twisting the in the ear piece out of the ear. The wire that connects the two ear pieces is made of a material that sticks to the back of the neck when it becomes slightly wet from perspiration or the elements. As a result, when you turn your head slightly, the ear piece is pulled from the ear. To avoid this, I wore the wire in the front of my neck, but this resulted in the wire bouncing up and down off my neck when i ran, which also was enough movement to pull the earpiece out of the ear. I tried to return these to Best Buy who told me I needed to take them to an Apple store, who told me I needed to complete a service request online through Apple, who told me to make an appointment with the Apple store. All I want to do is return this over priced piece of garbage. DO NOT BUY!

I opted for the Powerbeats3 over the 2's because of the battery life. They are lightweight and comfortable. The sound is good too.

Positives: if you have an iPhone you'll love the easy pairing and the way it's integrated into the iOS. The blutooth connection with the Apple chip is ridicuslously good. I never heard and crackling or drops when in range and range with line of site is like 100-ft in my experience. The battery life is huge here. 12 hours with a full charge and the quick fuel feature where you only need a 5 min charge to get 1 hour of use if you have a dead battery. Cons: the audio quality even when you are getting a good fit is not what you would expect from a premium set. And I found none of the tips fit me well. The ear hooks make sure these will never fall off, but this doesn't help me with the feeling that I need to keep pushing the tips back into my ears to restore the fit/sound quality throughout my given activity. Conclusion: I really wanted these to work out for me based on the battery life, quick charging, blutooth connection quality and integration into the iOS but the audio quality and fit with these ultimately were deal breakers for me. I returned my set and finally decided on the bose soundsports for the same price for an even exchange.

I bought my first pair of beats headphones a couple years ago after doing much research and and reading lots of reviews and trying other wireless Bluetooth headphones. I use them primarily for working out and running. They do have a good sound and a good fit. My problem was that after six months the first pair stopped working so I had to send them back. To their credit they replaced them with no questions asked. However the next pair I had to send back after three months, again replaced with no issue and the next pair lasted another six months before they stopped working. ( they're currently sitting in a drawer and won't charge or turn in) At that point, I realized that my plug-in $15.00 SkullCandy headphones never gave me 1 ounce of trouble even though they were a tad inconvenient. I recently purchased a new pair of Bose sport Bluetooth headphones and have been using them for about a month or so. So far so good, although I'm not crazy about the fit. I just think that when you pay $250-$300 for what should be a high-end product, you should get high end results. I will not be purchasing another pair of Beats.

Pairing was simple. Changed ear buds to fit properly. Initial sound was well rounded. Bass was very clear with no distortion. So here's where it gets interesting. When at the gym on flat bench, incline, decline or on mat the sound changes. It sounds like the headphones shift out of my ears but I don't feel it. I tried different buds but same issue. Standing up or sitting they sound great. As I changed positions the headphones seem to shift just enough where sound quality is lost and everything sounds tinny. These were $134.00 on sale. No way is that worth it! They need to perform solid no matter what I'm doing. Returned and got JBL Endurance Sprint which are $49.95. Sound isn't as good as Beats but close. They have ZERO issues with sound changing during workouts. I like the fit better around the ears and overall comfort. Don't fall for the celebrity endorsements. These are clearly overpriced for what they are.

I was looking for a good pair of wireless headphones and I must say I looked at about 50 pairs and kept coming back to this pair. They have proven to be amazing. They fit well in my ears and don't fall out randomly (I have small ears). I like being able to control the volume from the headphones so I don't have to pull my phone out all the time. I can adjust them easily to my liking. All in all I give them two thumbs up!

    simply do not last

bought 2 pairs if these, I will say the replacement program that apple has is great, my issue is I'm a runner and I sweat a lot. Somehow my beats last about 7 weeks and then the track advance quit working and then they simply stop working completely. They com with a year warranty and in this year I've sent my back 5 times and I didn't even open them until march but purchased in December so my warranty is over and I'm stuck with junk. I bought: Jabra - Sport Pace Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Black for only 49.99 and they are better then these beats. I've lifted weights in them and I did a 7 mile treadmill run and they never felt like they were coming out once but my beats always had to be adjusted. They sound better too. And these come with a 3 year warranty. after going through 2 pairs power beats 2s I wasn't going to try the 3s. Maybe the power beats 3s are better then the 2s.

    GREAT when they work

I bought these for myself because from what I gathered, they were the best for workouts. I was training for a half marathon and thought they'd would be perfect, and they were!...for about a month. I NEVER used these in rain and the only water they came in contact with was sweat (which from my understanding that was ok). After about a month the volume control stopped working along with the main button, which allows you to change songs, etc. I tried resetting and the whole shebang but got nothing. The buttons were not jammed and I can only assume it comes from being in contact with sweat. Now the most disappointing part actually comes with Best Buy. They only cover these for 15 days, but don't really make it known (not on my online receipt or on the package when I received them) and I was never offered a protection plan when I purchased them, so they (rudely) refused to help me. Now Beats is more than willing to repair them, but I'm without them for about a week and while it's not the end of the world, it is entirely inconvenient (but wireless headphones are awesome). I'm hoping I get these back in tip top shape, but if you're buying them get the protection plan!

    Expected Better, Got Worse

I decided on purchasing these because I work in all kinds of environments inside and out. So the water resistance feature was important. The features that are mentioned are nice features. The fast charge is awesome! The battery strength is excellent, I've used it many times for 12 hours or more. The sound is good. Plus you can wear them and not take them out to have a conversation with someone in many cases. But Powerbeats3 are terrible on connecting and reconnecting. They drop the bluetooth sitting right next to the device its connected to. They wear ok. But the cord length is a bit too short for use while working. Its needs to be about another inch longer minimum. The earbuds are honestly very uncomfortable. Overall considering Apple now owns Beats, I am terribly disappointed. For the amount of money these cost I can't believe how bad they are.

I’ve had the beats for a year and a half. Within a year I had to get them changed twice. And now they broke for the third time but I am out of my warranty window. It seems they cannot withstand sweat. The sound quality is great and I am sad that my headphones are broke. I do not want to spend another $100 on headphones so I will not be purchasing again, especially since you can’t insure them.

These are by far the best earplugs I've ever owned. I was hesitant about the piece that goes behind the ear but you really can't feel it at all. Sound quality is beautiful. I do wish that the battery life lasted a little bit longer, or that you could charge them and use them at the same time but it wouldn't stop me from buying another pair in the future.
