Nice but brittle
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved these earbuds for a few months. But after awhile it became more and more of a hassle to have to adjust the ear rings everytime i would use them. Last complaint is the over all design sleek yes, but durable absolutely not. Right ear bud completely snapped off just from putting th earbud on. The wire started to chafe and no it’s out of warranty. So shopping has begun will not be buying this brand again.

Good Headphones, Terrible Headset, Terrible Suppor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these headphones to use as a headset to take calls on my computer, upon pairing I noticed that it pairs as two devices (headset with mic, AND stereo headphones). If you use the stereo headphones, the audio for the headset stops working. If you only use the headset device, the audio quality is poor. I contacted Beats support and they were unable to help and pointed the finger at my computer manufacturer.

Don't do it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got a pair of Powerbeats3 after getting my wife BeatsX a while back. Thought they're more expensive and have a little more bass but...they have the worst connectivity of any bluetooth I've ever owned. Like I said don't do it! Returned the Powerbeats 3 and took my wife's BeatsX and bought her a pair of Apple AirPods. We're both extremely happy.

Does not work and Apple does not stand behind it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am on my second return of these headphones in 3 months. The initial return was due to the unit not holding a charge at all. After waiting a week to get replacement, the new ones hold a charge and I can hear music, but phone calls don't work (others can hear me but I cannot hear them). Apple/Beats will not refund, only offer to initiate the repair/replacement process again. I would recommend buying another product.

Durability
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Probably the most unreliable headphones especially made for workouts. I’ve had jay bird headphones prior to and may switch back because of the many interruptions I’ve had to maintain these headphones by Dre. They need to install an attached cap to cover charging port, otherwise the second the headphones get sweaty, it deactivates it’s operation for hours. Prior to this I’ve had to replace an entire set luckily for free due to warranty issues that didn’t apply to the incapabiltiy of charging normally at first. I’ve used this pair for maybe a few months yet the jay birds lasted at minimum a year before normal speaker wear down hindered the volume over time. I wanted Powerbeats because they can clip over the ear yet I feel it’s just not even worth it anymore. I plan to buy the blue bud X by jay birds very soon and trash the Powerbeats3.

Great sound, poor quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased my Powerbeats3. The set-up was quick and easy. The sound produced is great however, after the third use the headphones will not turn off. The directions that came with the unit are less than helpful. A quick search on Apple discussion shows a lot of other people having similar problems with the device.

Not good for Cycling
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They sound and fit well, but the wind noise while cycling makes them unusable.

Horrible. Returned them.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Powerbeats 2 wireless were pretty good. Decent bass, good sound but the battery life was terrible. Lasted 1 workout and that's all. These Powerbeats Wireless 3, are $60 more, and they have the sound quality of a pair of $2 headphones. There is literally no bass at all. Sound quality is garbage. I took them back and will use no headphones at all rather than these overpriced junk.

Great Sound, Horrible Reliability
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm guessing that the positive reviews on here are from those who have brand new Powerbeats3--I, too, used to be a huge fan. I'm now on my 3rd broken pair in under a year (1 pair of Powerbeats 2 and 2 pairs of Powerbeats 3). This poor quality and construction seems to be the norm for Powerbeats--just look at the reviews on Apple's own website. The Powerbeats 3 produces a great sound and are definitely comfortable for exercise. However, the battery consistently dies completely within a few months if you use them daily. They are also definitely not sweat proof. Yes, apple has a great 1 year warranty, but I'm so tired of having to return these expensive headphones after they break within a few weeks. Again--I'm about to 4th pair nowI advise you to save your money and frustration and look at other headphones.

Awsome....and then they die!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely a great pair of ear phones for exercise or working around the house. Loved them! I was out on a run a few days ago and they just died. Thinking the battery was dead, I tried charging them when I got home. 3 hours later when I tried turning them on, I got the 3 white flashes of death. When I finally got them turned on ( 4 hours later ), the battery was at 18% and dropping fast. The next morning, they were dead. They won't charge or turn on. They were only a few weeks out of warranty and it would cost about as much to fix them than to buy a new pair. My friend had a pair and the same thing happened to her. There are also other people online that have experienced this same issue. I would highly recommend buying something else with your money.

Horrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the powerbeas 2 and it was pretty good, so bought this version without hessitation. I tried 2 pieces and they both have same issues. The volume randomly changes all the time by itself and the rest of the buttons will not work. Planning to return it and try jaybird x3.

BROKE 3 TIMES
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these headphones for the purpose of working out and diligently put them back in their case after each use. After having them for less than a year, they broke. Luckily, I got them replaced because it was within a year. After after having this new pair for just barely over a year, they broke AGAIN in the same place. I made the decision to pay the price and buy them again because I didn’t want the hassle of finding another pair of wireless headphones. This was a mistake. This new pair again broke in the SAME PLACE. Except this time, they can’t be replaced becaude I bought them on a card that is now expired. I would NOT recommend these headphones due the fact that they broke 3 times in the same place!! I will not be paying for them again. They are not worth the price and do not even do a good job of canceling noise out.

Not what you think
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these head phones last Wednesday. I read the reviews and thought they were a good product. I was wrong. I had previously had Beats wired head phones and the right ear bud stopped working after a year and a half of owning them. I had to buy another pair because I workout 1.5 hours 5x a week. When running they would slightly come out and I would have to push them back in. After having them in my ear for over an hour they would be uncomfortable and start to hurt my inner ear. They would also randomly shut off and replay music. The sound was low and not good bass. Annoying and this happened within the last 3 days of purchasing them. I went to return because of that defect. I purchased Bose wireless sport head phones and you will NOT be disappointed with those. Buy those instead of these. Beats quality has gone down since APPLE took them over. Do Not Buy these. avoid at all costs.

Great Headphones NOT sport use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My review would be 5/5 stars if Bose Powerbeats were not marketed as sport headphones. I loved these, but well under 1 year of purchase my headphones stopped working and would not charge or turn on. I had them replaced without issue at the Apple store (initially bought through Best Buy) though the commute back and forth was a hassle. They gave me a new or refurbished pair, and I have used these even less (2-3 uses) and am having the same issue. I suspect this is due to sweating during earphone use. I kept my earphones in pretty much mint condition but was only using during exercise. With online research I found that there is a developing class action suit against this product because so many people are having this problem. Very disappointed - wish it wasn’t the case. For those that don’t really sweat during exercise they are likely fine.

Don't care about their customers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought my pair just over a year ago. This last week, the buttons on my headphones became unresponsive. This is a major issue because the only way to do a hard reset is to use the buttons. When I contacted customer service (Apple handles this), they said because I was outside the year warranty it would be $100 plus shipping and handling for them to fix the headphones. This is just over 70% of the cost of a new pair and not worth it in my opinion. It is unacceptable to pay over $100 for headphones that can't last 2 years and then the company will do nothing for you. It is a classic case of a brand being too large to care about their customers. I can say the product worked exactly how I wanted them to when they did work but I am not willing to try another pair if I know that I will be left on my own to cover costs to fix poor quality.

Many issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have now bought two pairs of these because the arm that wraps around your ear comes out too easy. And the sound sometimes goes haywire on me on it’s own. I bought another product that was half the price and works better and sounds similar. Save yourself money and don’t buy this product!!

Horrible headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive gone through 2 pairs of these already and both time they are at least 60% charged and I'm listing to my music and all of a sudden they just die. Charged for hours and still don't come back on. And not to mention I haven't dropped them in no liquid no damages to the headphones not even sweat. And they still died.

Absolute garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT BUY. This is a junk product that Apple manufactures for a price of less than $20 per unit (Google it) and sells at a massive premium. Without fail, every time I use them in the gym, they cut out after 15-30 minutes. There is a well-known issue with them not being sweat resistant. Even if you report the issue during the warranty period, Apple will string you along and try to get you to give up and go away, as they know they have a budding nightmare on their hands. There is currently a class action suit underway due to the lack of sweat resistance (go ahead and Google that, too).
