Not quite a year and returning to Apple
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these as a gift last year for Christmas so it hasn't been quite a year yet and we are now returning them to Apple to get repaired. The cord that goes into the actual earpiece has frayed and come apart. These have great sound quality and are nice for athletes but beware that if they are used often this could happen. I would recommend saving your receipt for the duration of the warranty period (1 year).
