Great teenager gift just to say they own a pair of "Beats". But for an adult I own and recommend the wireless Bluetooth with noise canceling set that look similar to these. They have larger ear coverage it seems as well. Beats that have the noise cancelling feature work great on my business trips and also durning morning metro commutes. Overall the sound lives up to all the hype but more appreciated by people who understand listening from a variety of track sounds and hooks. For the average person who just play. music for noise and rambling get them something cheaper but for someone that you know that enjoys music and vocals and quality acoustics then get them Beats headphones or Bose.
