portable does not mean wireless

But it is a plug in wire device. I tried it out and for all the hype over Dr, Dre, I thought it was overpriced. I have an inexpensive wireless over the ear set which works just fine and it cost about 90 bucks, I think. Disclosure: I can only hear out of one ear
