Headphones purchased as a gift for my 14 year old son. He loves them, says the sound quality is great. Very portable. The only thing he'd change is getting the wireless version.

Even though Beats may be expensive to most, it is totally worth it. Yes, I understand there are very good and cheaper options out there but if you're looking for style and great noise canceling audio this is the way to go. I actually own a pair of this color of beats myself! :)

Awesome headphones for the price. Very well constructed, comfortable and awesome sound. I just wish the cord was longer. I purchased these when they were on sale.

Great sound at a great price. I got these for $79.00 on sale. They are not wireless but are more comfortable compared to the first gen Solo and are supposed to have a better headband that doesn't break as easily.

I was able to purchase the Red Solo Beats by Dre on sale, and it is way better now than before. The new Beats Solo have better sounds and comfortable cushions

I purchased these headphones on sale and I'm glad I did. They look stylish and are very comfortable. I use them in my home studio and they sound great.

I bought these beats for my wife so she can use them while she traveled, she absolutely loved the Beats, extremely comfortable, great sound!

I tested out many headphones leading up to the purchase of these. Because of the hype I admit I leaned towards Beats though I checked out Bose, Sony and many variations of them all. The Beats, to me, had a better sound. None of them blew me away. Obviously better than mere earbuds, I favored the over-ear models due to the complete isolation from the noise around. I decided on these for two basic reasons: they were on sale and Beats was just acquired by Apple. I am an unapologetic Apple fanboy. While Beats lack some of the aesthetics of the Big A, if they thought it was a brand worth investing in there must be some merit. Also, these were nearly 70% off. THAT was quite a motivator! So I bought them. I do not regret the purchase. I am listening to them as I type this. Good sound. It's a complimentary color to my Mac's aluminum finish. I do not travel with them so I can't say of their ability to take attack and strain. I wish the cable, with its volume rocker and mic, was on the right side like other earbuds I use (I get confused when I need to pause, etc which side it's on) and the L-shaped minijack is a pain when plugged in to some devices. I also would've preferred the (Product)Red model but they weren't on sale. These were a nice alternative. Overall, Beats are overpriced. They may not be the best but I do enjoy the sound of them for the price I paid. I'm not sure the sound I'm looking for exists but these were the best of all I tried out. It may come down to personal preference but definitely try these out. And keep an eye out for sales. I see the over-ear and wireless models drop in price too!

Loved the color and quality of these headphones. I enjoy listening to my favorite music and movies. Excellent noise cancelling too.!

My son loves his Beats Solo 2 headphones. He's had them for over 2 months and cherishes it. Talk about great, clear sound. He especially digs how they fold into a cool compact neoprene case. I read many reviews before purchasing these for him and am so glad I purchased it. I got these for a better price on the Best Buy website than what Amazon was offering. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Purchased as a gift for my girlfriend and she loves them. She takes them with her to the gym and loves the quality of these.

The color is awesome, but the sound quality is just okay. I heard better for a lot cheaper. I did return these. I would recommend spending a little more money and upgrading to the beats mixr. The sound quality is a lot better.

These headphones are very portable. They fold into a small case for easy travel. They also have excellent sound quality.

I really wanted to like these more, but for the money the sound needed to be more than just ok. The shipping was excellent, in fact I ordered these yesterday and they arrived this evening. However, my cheap Jam headphones have better sound quality. They're not absolutely terrible, just not what I expected compared to the display model I tried while in the store, being an apple product, and the money spent on these things. With that being said, they will be going back to the store unfortunately.

Thanks to Best Buys hassel free return policy I purchased 3 Pairs if Beats. Solo 2 / Mixr / Studio. The Mixr headset was painful on my normal sized head . The. studio needed to be charged after use and had a HISS or HUMM at low or no volume which was disturbing The solo 2 are the best bang for the buck! Solo 2 is a definate winner!

I purchased this item since it was on sale. I gave it to my son as a gift. He liked it. The sound is crisp. It would have been better if wireless.

I love that It comes with the case. There are very soft and great for your ears. The sound is perfect.
