Purchased for my son to use on his iPad. He loves them and there is no background noise. Very clear.

The beats solo 2 looks nice, however sound quality is just ok. I own a pair of sennheiser pro headphones as well which sound much better for about the same price. That being said the sennheiser pro looks geeky compared to the beats solo 2. The fit of the beats solo also is a little bit to tight for me as an adult. Also the ears cups down fully encloses my ears as compared to the sennheiser pro. I would recommend it for teens, however if you don't mind looking geeky I would recommend sennheiser headphones instead

These headphones have very clear sound quality but for the price, I expected them to have some sound cancelling which they do not.

I love the sound quality of these headphones. I used these headphones a lot at the gym, and after about a 1 1/2 year, the left side of the headphones goes out. This is like my third pair of Beats headphones FYI. Best buy doesn't even offer a warranty for these headphones b/c so many customers had to return them. I don't know what's going on, but Apple needs to work on the quality and make these headphones waterproof.

Beats defiantly upgraded on quality from the old beats. These have a feel of higher quality and the sound is more even.

Really high end sound quality for a far lower price than comparable brands.

The headphones look beautiful. They sound the same as the 1st pair that came out. I could not talk on the phone only listen too music. Seriously if a $5 pair of headphones allows you to talk on the phone then so should the Solo2. Returned them today at a local Best Buy and got the wireless pair. I'm very disappointed.

I own a pair of the solo beats already and when they went on sale in blue I snagged a pair. These are awesome!
