Far better than I expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted headphones with a good bass response but worried these would overemphasize the bass at the expense of weak treble and mids. However, to me these headphones actually seem well balanced with a rich sound that has sufficient bass but also mids and highs that are not at all recessed. I now am listening exclusively with the Beats and after several weeks have found no reason to switch back to my Sennheisers that may have slightly greater clarity but produce nowhere near as rich a sound. To put my comments in perspective, I should mention that I am not a young person who listens to music with a heavy bass component but rather a senior citizen who listens to classical music and jazz.
