I bought these for my 13 year old daughter as a Christmas gift last year. Although she does love them and takes good care of them (putting them back in case when not in use, sitting while listening, or sitting in her backpack while walking), they are manufactured poorly. The head band is made of plastic. She had them attached to her phone with the cord while sitting in bed. The phone dropped, pulling on the cord resulting headband to break where the joint is to close them. As I was within the warranty period, I took them to apple to have them repaired. I was told that it is not covered for this issue, that it happens many times, and will cost $120 to fix. For such an expensive set of headphones not only am I disappointed in the lack of quality but also in the lack of coverage for the poor quality and how much it costs to fix that poor quality. I will not buy these headphones ever again. There are just as good quality made high end headphones that I would rather go with next time.
