Great functionality, but not built sturdy at all. Only 1 year of owning these headphones and the battery is dead and the headphone is falling apart. I treated these very good but still fell apart.

Purchased 3 of these for my daughters for Christmas. A few months later, 2 of the originals still work great and one has already had to be replaced due to charging failure. Best Buy swapped with another model at no charge. Great service.

OK. first bad review I think from me. The sound is nice, but the ear cover pieces have a thin material that wraps over the ear padding. And this is the 2nd time now, that the thin wrapping has come apart, I get little black pieces of crap all around my head, shoulders, chair, etc... I ripped the whole piece of material off to just have the padding there so I don't have to deal with that crappy mess but now the phones just don't look right. I'd never buy these again. lesson learned.

This is my 3rd set of wireless beats headphones. These headphones are almost identical to the solo 2 headphones where the hinge is the weak point. It needs a better design they seem to break after the 1 yr warranty expires :(

You are paying for the Brand-name and work more than sound quality, but that’s been said about beats for years now. These are OK because I got them on sale for under $200 but I would not pay anything over that.

    Great Headphones

Just to be clear I am over 40 and close to 50 and I am not a regular listener of Rap/ Hip hop. I do listen to EDM regularly though. I had originally thought to upgrade my Bose QC 15 Headphones to the Bose QC 35. I ordered them and picked them up. On my way to pick them up I figured I would go to the sample area and give them a listen after all no commitment until I pick them up. They essentially sounded the same as my QC15 headphones, maybe a little more depth to the sound which is a good thing. After I picked up my QC35 headphones I wandered over the Beats Area smirked and put on the Solo 3 Wireless. I was surprised how great they really sounded. They had a bass punch that the Bose lacked. I am far from a bass head but I do enjoy the punch. I will say that some of the mids do get muddy but just a bit, but not terrible. Plus, on sale they were $100 cheaper, so I took a chance and exchanged them, I figured I can bring them back if I don't like them. Pairing was super easy with iOS, the phone asks if you want to pair then pairs then transfers that pairing to all iOS and Mac devices. The range on these things is also unreal, as is I am told the battery life (just got them so I don't know yet). I am not sure if the QC 35 is better than the Solo 3 wireless, but I know it isn't $100 better.

Extended warranty should be offered at the time of purchase. After 2 weeks with no incident right side stopped working. Did not get a new one as promised but it was repaired. Other that that my son are enjoying them.

Extremely uncomfortable on the ears, especially if you have earrings on. It made my ears hot and the sound was not as loud as expected. I feel the sound is better on my apple earphones. I ended up returning them.

These headphones worked great for a short time. For what they cost i would expect them to last at least a year or more. after about 9 months they stop holding a charge while off and started overheating when charged in.

Second pair I had to purchase for my daughter. She loves them. First worked well just the sound went out in one ear. Bestbuy can’t offer warranty only Apple. Be aware of that. But overall good product

Really a shame because I just wanted to buy the older solo wireless 2 from Beats. The new solo 3's are okay but the hype is so overrated. They are supposed to have 40 hours of play time from one charge. The problem I had is that they would not stay connected to my smart TV. You had to do the set up twice each and every time you wanted to connect. I though ti was just that specific pair of headphones so I returned them and got a new pair. Same problem. Why fix something that wasn't broken. The Solo 2 are fantastic. You simply push the power button and they are connected. Whole process takes 20 seconds. The solo 3 took three minutes each and every time.

I had bought this for someone else and another for myself, both got returned because after a while of usage around the ears starts to hurt since it sits on the ears. I would recommend other ones that sit around the ears

    Getting frustrated!!

I’m getting very frustrated with these headphones!! I bought them on September 12, 2019. The salesperson at Beat Buy Suggested I buy the AppleCare at the same time. He said if I had any problems I could bring them back there and they would exchange them with a new set. The headphones lasted about three months of regular use and charging. Then one day I went to use them and they wouldn’t turn on. I figured the battery was dead so I charged them for 9 hours that night. I want to use them the next day and they still would not turn on. I looked online as to how to reset them, by holding the button for 10 seconds, but they never responded. I took them back to Best Buy and was told by the agent there that if I took them to the Apple store, I would have faster turnaround. I reminded him that when I bought them I was told I would get a replacement set if they failed. He told me that’s not how it worked with the apple care plan. Had a purchased one of their plans and then I would’ve gotten a new set. I told him I was not offered it, but he said there was nothing he could do. I took them to the Apple store which is right down the street. They took them in and said they had to send them out for repair. They said they would ship them to me at my house either repaired or with a new set but they couldn’t exchange them there. After about three or four days a new set arrived at my house. I charged them immediately and they were fine for about four weeks. Now the battery is wearing down within 10-12 hours even when they are turned off. I now have to go back to the Apple Store and return them for repair again. If they keep going At this rate, I will never buy another pair of Beats Headphones.

Overpriced and what you’re buying is the brand name. Box also came in horrible condition with tape all over it. Skullcandy are a better route.

I wanted over the ear and these are on ear. I ordered online. So when I stopped in to pick them up, I tried all their demos out and switched to different set. Very easy to make the exchange. Service was great.
