Bought these as a gift to my daughter and she absolutely loves them! Beautiful color, looks very elegant when she's wearing them, very soft and cushiony, sounds great, and she pretends not to hear me while wearing them lol! Very happy with this product!

Yeah these look cool, the sound is better than average. Too much bass for my taste but I bought these to workout with so it doesn't matter. They are comfortable and sit well on the head, and battery life is amazing. What I don't understand is when you pay $300 for headphones why they give you such a cheap flimsy and tight case. It's hard to get the headphones in and out because it's such a tight fit. When I received them they were so tightly packed that the right ear cup is completely smashed/ dented and doesn't lay right on the ear. They don't even sell a better case option on the site. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep these yet. I'm not sure if it's even worth the sale price. Or maybe I'm just picky, but $250/$320 with tax is a lot of money for something with just good sound and a horrible case that actually ruins the product instead of protects it.

Excellent sound and my wife loves them! These are smaller than the studios and they fit on my wife's head better. Solo 3 have a better wireless/ Bluetooth technology and a 40 hour battery life. Excellent quality!

Great Sound, but what makes this perfect is the battery life. Use them at the gym, I go 6 days a week, and have gone over two weeks without charging. Highly Recommend. worth every penny.

Grown up sound and great wireless

I have to make an admission up front: I am a Bose fan. Headphones... earbuds... portable speakers... mine usually has a Bose nameplate on it. I have avoided buying Beats products for years because of the Beats snobbery that I developed in the early days of Beats headphones. They had a reputation for boomy overdone bass and a popularity with listeners who are young enough to be my grandchildren. Then I tried the Beats Solo 3. These have a much more grown up sound than I ever expected from a Beats product. They sound great... maybe not for a "critical" listener, but I think that's overblown anyway. I love clear crisp sound, but I'm not going to be ridiculously demanding. But that W1 wireless chip! OMG is that thing going to change the Bluetooth market! I can almost guarantee that it will change the way that you listen to your music. The low power consumption, range, and connection stability are so far above anything else on the market that I'd bet the competition is scrambling to catch up. I routinely leave my iPhone plugged into the charger in my house while I roam around doing things inside. I have gotten accustomed to positioning myself so that the Bluetooth radio faces the phone, otherwise the music drops out or stutters when I get very far away. But the Solo 3's never falter until you get far far away from them. In fact, I forgot that I was wearing them and walked outside to get the mail... and got sidetracked with something in my yard. I had walked to the far end of the yard before I realized that I was still listening to music streaming from my phone inside the house... easily 150-200 feet away! And I was skeptical about the claim of 40 hours on a battery charge. I haven't run them dry yet, but I did listen all day at work and after 6 solid hours of listening the battery meter on my iPhone reported that they'd gone from 100% down to 91% charged. My doubts are lessening. I haven't used the Fast Fuel feature yet, but the claim is that a 5 minute charge will give you 3 hours of listening time. If that's true, that's a huge benefit. So with the grown up sound and great W1 wireless chipset features... maybe I'm not such a Bose fanboy any more.

First off, I was really hesitant to buy these because of the price. I have never spent anywhere near as much money as these cost for any type of headphones, but I am so glad I did! The sound quality is AMAZING! You feel like the musicians are in the same room as you giving a concert. Movies also sound like you are in the theater and have soround sound audio. I hate dealing with earbuds because they constantly fall out of my ears when I'm jogging, so that is what originally got me to look at Beats. I also love that they are wireless, because I get super annoyed by headphone cords when I'm trying to work out. The only negative feedback I will give for these is that I wish they fit a woman's head better. My headphones are not extended at all, and still fit a little loose on the head. Not enough where it is bothersome, but I still wish it could be just a tad snugger for security purposes. Overall, this was a great buy, and I highly recommend these headphones.

So I had beats before some studios and let me say they are solo 3 beats are way better they are improved and sound great have a good amount of bass not a lot but u do get some kick to it the volume is good to no loud loud but pretty loud it's also nice and crisp over all great set of headphones I think it's more like a 4.5 stars but since it's a big improvement from older ones I have them a 5 and I got the gloss black ones for 205 out the door so saved $110 bucks beats $300+ so definitely worth it

I looked at these for a while before purchasing and I have had them a few weeks. The sound quality is great, the battery lasts a LONG time and charges so quickly it’s amazing. The only thing that sucks is wearing them with glasses, as they make your ears hurt, but that was expected. The Bluetooth reaches all over my house and this is the first pair of Bluetooth headphones I’ve had that don’t cut out when I walk to the other side of my home.

I also have a pair of Bose noise canceling headphones, but they have a cord, which I've broken and replaced. I also broke the cord on the Apple earbuds that came with my iPhone. So I decided that I really needed some wireless headphones. After doing some research I decided to try Beats Solo 3. The gloss black were on sale for $189.99 and I had a Best Buy rewards for $50. So having paid $139 for these, they are amazing. Now all I need is for Apple to design an equalizer app.

The sound quality is amazing! They’re loud and quality is seemeless. BUT, they are very tight and the surroundings over my ears hurt about 10 minutes into wearing them. Even when they’re stretched out as furthest they can be, they’re still tight, and no my head is not big at all. If you like tight loud headphones, these are for you.

    Hurts on ears

The sound quality is amazing and the bass is awesome my problem is I could not have them on my head more than 10 to 15 minutes without it hurting my ears. I was constantly having to rearrange it ! For the price I was not going to be in pain and it felt so fragile. Gets dirty very easy and the case was semi small, had to squeeze headphones in, to close it! You can only wear them for a short period amount of time . These headphones really block outside noise, if it didn't hurt or feel such a pressure on the ears I would give 5stars, easily connected to my iwatch 2, and iPhone, was impressed! But now I returned them and Just ordered the AirPods which I won't even get until June2017

    Battery Life

The battery life is just insane! Apple outdid themselves with their new chip which extends the charge of their headphones to a whole new level. Along with that, it takes just 5 mins to get a quick charge which should last you 3 hours. I'm very happy with the sound quality as well. Yes, the price may me a little steep for some but when you're gonna get quality headphones, prepare to spend some cash.

    From Bose to Beats

I have used Bose for years, but recently got the iPhone 8, which has no headphone jack. I have tried Bose newest wireless headphones, but they hurt my ears, and I have on old pair of sound link wireless on ear headphones but they start to hurt my ears after a while. I am not a fan of the over ear headphones because I look weird and the noise cancelation starts to hurt my ears after a while from the pressure the noise cancellation feature adds. I bought some AirPods and I do like them for use while I am at home, I have to use ear hooks with them so I don't bother using them in public places out of fear that I will lose one. Ive had beats on the past but always the ear buds never on ear or over ear. I have to say, I do like these a little more than Bose, and definitely more than AirPods. I like these headphones because I get noise isolation, I like that it comes with the W1 chip so I don't have to pair it to all my devices, it's already recognized. and I love these because they don't hurt my ears while wearing them.
