Although they are noise cancellation, they block out most the sound. Only concern is the ear pads get fast, I wish Best Buy would offer an protection plan for Beats products.

Also, after a while they hurt my ears. Besides those two reasons, sound quality is amazing and a very stylish item. No regrets.

They worked amazing with my Apple TV, MacBook Pro and iPhone 7 I had no problems connecting or anything. Just don't see a practical use for $300 headphones unless your in the music industry.
