Low Volume Complaint Fix
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought these at Best Buy and I love them. They are the best bluetooth earbuds I've ever owned. When I was reading the reviews, I saw many complaining of the low volume. I took a gamble on those reviews being over-dramatic, but they were right. The volume was quite low, until I figured out how to fix it. Now they can go loud enough to hurt my ears. The long press of the button on either earbud is preprogrammed to turn the Active Noise Cancelling on and off. I paired them to my iphone, and when I went into the settings on my phone, I was able to reprogram the long press to turn the volume up on the right earbud, and down on the left. If you long press on the right earbud and turn it all the way up, the earbuds volume will go way up. Then you can switch the programming back to the noise cancelling function and just control the volume with your phone, or whatever you pair it with. After I did that, the volume has been great. Sound quality is great. I love them. The noise cancelling and transparency mode are just ok. But I don't know what you can really expect from earbuds this small for this price.

Almost there
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For what I actually wanted, the Beats Studio Buds are actually quite good. I was looking for an alternative to the AirPods that were similar in their seamless function without too much excess. For some, the fact that the Studio Buds do not have the H1 chip which means they cannot be synced across the devices on your icloud account is a negative and I can see why. For me however, I am glad that they will only sync to a single device, that way they don't get accidentally grabbed by my Mac or Apple Watch when I didn't want that to happen. Suddenly hearing loud dings in my ears because my Watch synced to my AirPods unintentionally has always been very annoying so I actually appreciate that cannot happen with these. This next part is very subjective, but they happen to fit my ears perfectly, I can move a lot or even eat with them in and they don't budge at all, and I can wear them for an entire charge without any discomfort. Both definitely wins in my book. Speaking of battery life, it is as advertised. If using ANC, they last 4-5 hours. If not, they go closer to 7. Considering how small they are and how they stack up to the competition its all about right, Now, the biggest negatives for me and what hold the Beats Studio Buds from greatness are the fact that the case does not support Qi charging, although it at least uses USB-C, and frankly the ANC is abysmal. I cannot tell any difference between having Active Noise Cancellation on or off. I have ensured that I am using the correct size ear pieces and they fit very well, yet the only significant difference with ANC on is it takes a couple hours off the battery life. It's totally useless. I have to check my phone to see if its even on at all. Transparency mode is better, but not entirely necessary since they don't isolate sound very well to begin with. Last complaint is I am told that the sound quality on phone calls is subpar. I can hear everything just fine however the person on the other end says I sound almost staticky compared to other headsets and buds I have and use still. The Beats Studio Buds are a mixed bag. I wanted something similarly easy to use as the AirPods and these check that box. Open the case and sync, then simply pull them out of the case to use. That's it. However, calls aren't perfectly clear, the ANC is a joke, and no wireless charging is a disappointment. On the plus side for me is they fit very well and are super comfortable, they sound good other than a distinct lack of bass, my watch doesn't steal them away and send notification sounds directly into my ear canals, and they look really nice particularly in black. I intend to use them regularly even though they aren't perfect. They work well enough for me.

Average Earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It seems like Beats decided to change from premium headphones, to budget friendly earbuds. That’s exactly what the Beats Studio Buds are. The box contains just a few items, the charging case, the buds, 3 different size ear tips and a very short USB C charging cable. It would have been nice for them to include a USB C power plug, but I guess that would have made the cost a little higher. The case is fairly small and can fit in your pocket easily without taking up too much space. It does feel kind of cheep with the top just having a thin layer of plastic, which I wouldn’t recommend dropping it. The buds are lightweight, with a matt finish and a glossy button on the top of them. I found that the buds are hard to get a good grip making them slippery to hold on to. It took a few times of adjusting to figure out how they actually go inside my ear, but once I figured it out, they sit in there quit comfortably. There is a small mic on the top end of each earbud, which acts as the passive noise feature. On the end of each bud is a button, the button has several functions such as: pause/play, hold to activate ANC, transparency or off, skip and rewind. The sound quality I would say is mediocre. The buds have a decent amount of bass, really good highs, but fall flat on the mids. Depending on the kind of music you listen to, this can have a huge impact on sound quality. The ANC or active noise canceling, isn’t impressive, and if you plan on trying to use these on an airplane, I wouldn’t recommend them. In fact, I couldn’t even tell the difference between ANC on or off. I took a 2-hour road trip with the family, and with the ANC on, I still had a hard time hearing the music. The same thing can be said about the transparency feature, it doesn’t do a very good job at enhancing the environment sounds. Again, it sounds about the same weather the feature was on or off. The battery is one of the best features about the buds. It does last a good while eve with the ANC or transparency functions on. Plus, with the fast-charging case, 5 mins will give you another solid hour of play time. The best part is, the case can be charged using USB C, which charges it very fast. Overall, I would have to say the Beats Studio Buds are average at best. The sound quality is nothing to brag about, it lacks any sort of mids and at times the highs can be ear piercing. I will say, they are very comfortable to wear, especially for long periods of time. This has to do with the well design of them and the fact that they’re really lightweight. I was really disappointed with the active noise canceling feature, as it doesn’t do that good of a job. I was able to have a full conversation with the ANC turned on and didn’t have any trouble hearing the other person. And the transparency feature, is even worse. The fast-charging case is a really nice feature that gives you plenty of playing time on a single charge. This would be a good starter pair of earbuds, but if you’re expecting killer sound quality with great ANC, I would look for other options.

Good sound, noise cancelling is ok.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pro: -Clear balanced sound -Comfortable -Case is compact Con: -Noise cancelling could be better -Battery life -No wireless charging The earbuds are small and comfortable to wear. It comes with three sets of silicone tips. There’s a button on each side that controls the music, answers calls, and switches between the noise cancelling modes. The buttons are easy to activate, and I find myself pressing them by accident often when adjusting the buds. Pairing them with my iPhone was simple. The first time, there was a prompt on my phone and all I had to do was click on it. To pair more devices, I had to press the button on the case for a few seconds and it went into pairing mode. The charging case is round and compact, and easily fits in my pocket without being bulky. It charges with a USB-C, but does not have wireless charging. It only has one indicator while charging and doesn’t have any battery level indicator so there’s no way to tell how many charges are left. The sound quality is quite good. It’s an overall balanced sound, clear and without too much bass. When listening to instrumentals, it sounds full, and I can hear the distinct sounds clearly. It may not be as good as higher end brands, but to me it sounded fine. Noise cancelling, while not bad, isn’t that great either. It dampens some lower rumbling sound and fan noise, but a good amount is still audible. The difference between normal and noise canceling isn’t that big. The transparency mode works well, but adds a slight hiss. There’s no voice prompts (just a series of beeps) while switching between the noise cancelling modes, so it can be hard to tell if it’s on. Battery life isn’t the greatest. With noise cancelling on, it lasts about 5 hours. The case will provide up to 15 hours of use. If you really need good noise cancelling earbuds, these are probably not it. These will cut down some of the noise, but I have better ones, though at a much higher price point. The sound is clear and is more balanced without emphasizing bass over vocals. Overall audio is good. Battery life could be better, but it’s not too far off from the average.

An all-around good package
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really didn't know what to expect from these earbuds. I've been trying to find a pair of earbuds I can take everyone. They need to have a small charging case, good battery life, preferably some level of ANC, good audio quality, stay in my ears, and not skip. I tried the new Sony earbuds, but they hurt my ears after 20-30 minutes of listening, the Bose QC earbuds but they were buggy, I tried the new Jaybird earbuds but they never made a seal in my ears so they sounded awful, and the Amazon Echo Buds 2 but they also hurt my ears after a while. I already knew other earbuds from Sennheiser, Master & Dynamic, and Soundcore wouldn't stay in my ears. I gave these a shot thinking they would fall out like the AirPods Pro and regular AirPods do. That hasn't been the case. I can wear these all day without hurting my ears and they stay put when I'm at my desk, walking outside, or bending over and working. The earbuds themselves are light but they're held in by resting on a portion of my outer ear and with the ear tip. I don't feel pressure on my ears while wearing these and they stay in while laying down/reclining. The charging case is small and easily fits in my pockets. I wish it had Qi charging, but USB-C is a nice addition. The magnetic lid is securely held shut and the earbuds take effort to remove. These aren't going anywhere if you drop them. The case is a little larger than the case for the AirPods Pro, I wish they put a larger battery in it. You can recharge the earbuds twice with the case, that's it. The case itself is made from a durable matte plastic. You can see the molding seems in the case, but it isn't a big deal. It isn't as seamless as the cases for the AirPods and AirPods Pro but it's still nice. Total battery life is 24 hours without ANC or transparency or 15 hours with ANC or transparency. The earbuds themselves will last for 8 hours without ANC/transparency and 5 hours with one of those enabled. 5 hours isn't much compared to others. They do gain 1 hour of playback after charging in the case for 5 minutes, so there's that. Still, I wish these could have pushed to 6-8 hours with ANC and 8-10 hours without it (and at least 3 full charges out of the case). The earbuds themselves have new ear tips Beats/Apple made specifically for these. There is a pill-shaped button on each earbud for playback controls. Press once to play/pause/answer a call, twice to skip forward, three times to skip backwards, and hold to toggle between ANC and transparency modes. The physical button feels nice and tactile when using it and the button is the same for both earbuds. You can customize what pressing and holding does, I left mine alone since I'm on an iPhone and these have "Hey, Siri" detection (they don't have "Hey, Google" or "OK, Google" detection on Androids). The Beats Studio Buds support quick pairing with both Androids and iPhones, they'll even show up in the Find My app for iOS and Find My Devices app for Android. You are missing out in quick switching between Apple devices, these don't pair to your iCloud account. They also don't work with spatial audio in video apps, they do work well with spatial audio in Apple Music (if you like that). Their sound quality is somewhere in the middle. The bass isn't as boomy as it is for the PowerBeats Pro but it is detailed. Highs are better on these compared to the PowerBeats Pro. The sound quality is like the AirPods Pro, just with less treble and more bass. I can pick out single instruments and the sound stage is OK for earbuds. These aren't anything special, but they aren't terrible either. The audio quality is fine for everyday earbuds. The ANC leaves room for improvement. It's fine for droning noises but lets in higher pitched noises. The AirPods Pro do a better job of cancelling out highs instead of just muffling them like the Studio Buds. Transparency mode is fine. I can still tell it's processed audio but it isn't bad, I've heard worse from Samsung earbuds. Lastly, Apple put a new Beats chip in these that has a Class 1 Bluetooth 5.2 profile. You'll get a 100ft range on them and, so far, skipping hasn't been an issue for me with my iPhone 12 Pro. I recommend these for anyone looking for a pair of solid everyday earbuds. They work well with Androids and iPhones, have good sound quality, OK noise cancelling, and average battery life. They're stylish, well built, and comfortably stay in my ears. I think Apple has a hit on their hands, I just wish the case had Qi charging.

Great Sounding Earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a bit skeptical of these earbuds at first. I've never been a fan of Beats products. However, I was pleasantly surprised, and I may now be a convert. First off, they come packaged very nicely, and everything has a high quality feel to it. The buds come with the charging case, cable, and 3 sizes of ear tips. I have very large ear canals, and the large size fit me perfectly. I usually have trouble finding tips that actually fit. Not only do they fit well, but they are actually very comfortable, eve for long periods of time. I wore them for a couple of hours straight and there was no discomfort whatsoever. Next, I'll talk about the setup process. I paired these to my iPhone, and really, it couldn't be simpler. You literally just tap the case to the screen and it asks if you want to pair them. Just for giggles, I checked the traditional way as well, and again, pretty simple. You just go into bluetooth settings and add them just like any other bluetooth device. If you are using these on iPhone, you also get a little extra stuff you can do in the bluetooth settings page. Mainly, you can set what mode they are in, transparency, noise canceling, or none. Transparency allows you to hear your surroundings, since these are the types of earbuds that actually seal the ear canal, making it very difficult to hear your surroudings. This is a nice feature to have if you are maybe in public where you need to be aware of your surroundings, or at work and don't want to miss if someone is trying to talk to you. Noise canceling is pretty self explanatory. It's good for drowning out noise like on an airplane or in a busy public area. Lastly, you can just use them with both features turned off, which will help save battery life. Which I will talk about next. Like so many of these types of ear buds, these not only have a battery built into the earbuds, but can recharge in the case up to two more times. This can give you anywhere from 15-24 hours of total listening time before you have to recharge them, according to the manufacturer. I did not get to test this for accuracy, but just in my normal testing, I was able to wear them all day and not have to recharge, and then used them the next day with no problem. So I see no reason why these numbers aren't at least close to accurate. Finally, I'll talk about the most important thing; sound quality. I am no audiophile, so I can't get into that level of detail, but I at least have used a wide variety of different earbuds an headphones, all across the spectrums of quality and price. These buds definitely rank on the high end. They sound absolutely fantastic. I had always heard that Beats are a bit heavy on the bass, and I really didn't think was the case with these buds. Don't get me wrong, the bass is definitely there, especally in bass heavy music like dance and hip hop. But it wasn't in your face or anything. And it was still very well balanced. I've heard other bass heavy headphones where the vocals or instrumentals don't sound great, but everything across a good mix of music genres sounded fantastic with these buds. After using these for about a week, I am confident in saying that these are going to become my daily use earbuds. They are super comfortable, have great battery life, and most importantly, they sound great.

Way better than my AirPod pros fr worth it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beats earbuds are popular for several reasons. Firstly, they offer exceptional sound quality with deep bass and clear highs, making them a favorite among music lovers. Their sleek and stylish design also makes them a fashionable accessory. Additionally, Beats earbuds are known for their comfortable fit, which is great for long listening sessions or workouts. They often come with various ear tip sizes to ensure a secure and custom fit. Another advantage is their wireless capability, providing freedom from tangled cords and easy connectivity to devices. Many models also feature noise cancellation, which enhances the listening experience by blocking out background noise. Overall, Beats earbuds combine great sound, style, and convenience, making them a top choice for many users.

Studio sound quality packed into small package
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beats is known for making some of the best headphones on the market. Before now you had to buy their much larger over the head earphones in order to get the best studio sound quality. These earbuds are here to change the game and pack studio quality into a much smaller package. I would first like to start off by talking about the sound quality. Beats is know for its signature sound which is typically heavy on the bass side. If you are a fan of other beats headphones these are just as great. Normally, earbuds do not have as great of sound quality as much larger headphones. The idea of these earbuds is to change the game and pack studio quality sound into a small earbuds. I believe the sound quality is on par with any of the other top headphones on the market right now. One great feature is that these earbuds include noise cancelling and transparency mode. The noise cancelling is pretty good. If you are listening to something with it on then there is practically no background noise. Transparency mode is a great feature so that if you want to be able to hear what is going on around you. It works but I believe there are other headphones on the market that do it slightly better. From a design standpoint, the ear buds are small and light weight. The fit pretty well inside my ears. The only thing is that under extreme activity I would not trust them to stay in. However, they might fit better in some ears then others. The come with a nice charging case which is made out of a hard plastic. It feels a little cheap to me but they built a lot into a pretty low price for what you get. Battery life is rated at 8 hours which is pretty good in my opinion. They can be put into the charging case for up to an additional 24 hours. I think these are good earbuds for anyone who commutes because of the noise cancelling and transparency modes. I believe these earbuds were made to replace big over the ear studio headphones. You can now get the same great sound quality in a much smaller package .

Great sound at a great price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using Beats by Dr Dre products for years now and one thing I like about their headphones whether it’s the in-ear, on-ear, or over the ear headphones is how loud, clear, and good they sound with plenty of bass. And for the price, beats newest in-ear headphones (or earbuds) do not disappoint. Just as expected they sound great. The earbuds themselves are true wireless, they last a few hours on their own but when it’s time to charge them, you just put them back in their case and they start charging again. Nothing revolutionary since it’s all been done before but these beats just have very stylish look to them. Like the AirPods, these pair to your iPhone instantly, pretty good noise canceling, and very comfortable to wear, all for a pretty good price. Including in the box is the earbuds, the charging case, charging cable and different size earbud tips, so that you can use the ones that feel most comfortable to you. Are these air buds not sound as good or have as many features as the AirPods Pro for example, but the AirPods Pro are significantly more expensive. So for what these do and their price point I definitely recommend them.

Nice ear buds, just not for me
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are…okay. I was excited to try them for the price point they are at but I wasn’t as impressed as I thought I would be. The bass on them is decent, better than my original air pods but wasn’t as good as I expected a product from Dre to be. The noise cancellation is pretty good but I can’t really compare them to anything else. With all of that being said, I am planning on returning these. Reason being is they do not fit in my ears. They were fine when I was sitting on my couch, listening to music but when I tried wearing them today while mowing my lawn, they almost fell out multiple times before I decided to just take them out and call it a day. Although my AirPods don’t have as great of quality of sound, they do fit in my ear better so I will be going back to using them. Just a couple more things I’d like to mention is that these air buds do kind of stick out of your ears a little more than I would have expected. The case also feels very cheap compared to the AirPods.

Pure bliss for the budget-minded
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Beats Studio wireless earbuds strike the perfect balance between quality and price. At $100 cheaper than leading brands and only $50 more than the Galaxy earbuds -- the Beats Studio earbuds are a great contender. The case and earbud materials feel noticeably less premium than Apple's Airpod Pros, but the Beats feel lighter and stay in your ear a little better. Bass is solid (as you'd expect from Beats), call quality is good, battery life is great, and the design is fantastic. Rather than touch controls, each earbud has a tactile button to pause/play. I find myself accidentally pausing my music whenever I adjust the earbuds. A minor annoyance , but auto-stop when the earbuds are removed is not available with these earbuds. Luckily you'll get a satisfying click when the case closes and the earbuds snap securely into place when put in their case. Since the earbuds won't shift around while they're in your pocket, this will at least prevent your phone from connecting to the earbuds while they're stored and draining the battery (a few other brands have this issue). The ends of the earbuds are like a mini handle which makes it easy to hold, store, and put in your ear. ANC is acceptable-- but Sony and Yamaha are the better option if you're specifically after the noise cancellation. The light and sporty design of these earbuds help them stay in your ears better than any other brand I've tried, including the Airpod Pros. If you don't want to spring for all the bells and whistles and are looking for versatile ANC earbuds - then give the Beats Studio earbuds a try.

must buy!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're in the market for new earbuds, I most highly recommend purchasing these new Beats earbuds! These totally wireless earbuds pack quite a punch in such a tiny package! Upon opening the box, the contents are very neatly packed inside. The buds come in a small oval container and are already partially charged. There are instructions and a charging cable as well. The cable is USB-c to USB-c so you will have to purchase a block for charging if you don't already have one. It will not connect to a normal USB charging block. This is honestly the only gripe I had with this product. They hold a great charge. I've been using on and off all week and they haven't lacked in power or sound yet. They are due for a charge soon though. I would say their claim to holding 24 hours of charge is accurate. Connectivity is a breeze. You open the ear bud case and press the small button between the buds and your iPhone automatically recognizes and connects via Bluetooth. It was seamless thanks to Beats being owned by Apple. I don't own an android phone so I'm not sure how easy connectivity is with that. Sound quality is exactly what I wanted and expected. These buds have noise cancelling as well as ambient sound so you can hear whats going on around you. Very simple to switch between the two. Phone call quality was crisp and clear on both ends. Music listening was perfect for using while multitasking and casual listening. I would honestly prefer a little more bass or an app to customize sound but they are still great without that feature!

Good Not Great, Lacking Features With Lower Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are good not great. I'll start off by saying the fit on these are amazing and the sound is pretty good as well. They aren't quite as clear as the Sony WF-1000XM4's but they do have better bass than those Sony's. However if you are use to a high end earbud like those Sony's or the Bose's high end everything on this set is really just cutting corners. Cons No wireless charging No in-ear detection Microphone isn't very good Noise cancelling muffles sounds but they aren't really cancelled you can still hear outside sounds I don't like physical buttons on earbuds because you need to have a good fit and once you have it you don't want to move it around by hitting buttons so touch controls are preferable on buds. So ultimately I decided the Sony's were worth another $130 for all of those features to really have a truly great set of earbuds.

Hard hitting earbuds!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Beats Studio Buds are an amazing set of earbuds. With hard hitting sound and beautiful build quality these are my new favorite earbuds. First off, the sound. For my tastes, the Beats Studio Buds sound amazing. You get hard hitting bass and overall great audio quality. After listening to some music on the Studio Buds, I switched over to my Apple AirPods Pro and the sound difference was immediately apparent. The AirPods sounded flat and less vibrant compared to the Beats. For me, the Beats win the sound test. Additionally, there is a Beats logo on the tip of each earbud that functions as an audio control for calls or music. The fit is perfect for my ears as well. The Beats actually stayed in my ears through a workout which is a first for me and earbuds. In the box you will get different earbud sizes and a short USB C cable for charging. As for pairing and setup, it is super easy if you have an iPhone. Just open up the case and pairing should begin just like with AirPods. Otherwise, you can set these up like you would any Bluetooth audio device. If you enjoy the Beats sound, and like punchier bass, then you should definitely get the Beats Studio Buds. Can’t recommend these enough

Quality Earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Beats Studio Buds work well for me. I listen to music while exercising as well as for leisure. It doesn’t take very long to charge them, and the literature does state that even 5 minutes of charging will give up to 1 hour of listening time. The sound is good, it’s not too bass heavy. I’ll be using these for maybe an hour per day and will likely defer to using normal mode since noise-canceling mode depletes the charge faster. It was a little hard to tell between normal and noise-canceling mode, but I can definitely tell when the transparency is on because the mic becomes activated and I can hear my surroundings and myself a lot more. The Beats Studio Buds and the case are both sleek and look great. The case has a nice weight to it. The package comes with different sized buds as well as a short charging cable. The earbud play/pause/forward/etc. features are activated by pressing the earbud button, it's not a tapping feature like other wireless earbuds. Pairing was seamless with my Android device as well as my iPad. The package comes with a free trial of Apple Music. A nice bonus for anyone wanting that. Overall, great earbuds.

Secret to volume adjustment.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these earbuds and at first the high volume seemed to unadjustable. After searching online, i found the secret. While in ears & playing, continually hold upper section of RIGHT bud. That proceedure will take volume up trememdously. Must be set to safe volume until you adjust. Be careful cause they do get loud. Adjustment can then be adjusted by single touch on buds or volume adjust on phone or pad or wherever you originate bluetooth source.
