Beats delivers the bass and style

I own the AirPods Pro, the Galaxy Buds Pro and now Studio Earbuds so my review is based on the user experience of all 3 earbuds. The AirPods Pro are the most expensive but they are the best overall. Beats earbuds might not be the best at ANC or transparency mode but they have a solid foundation based on full and clean bass, a comfortable fit, and they look good. Here are some pros and cons to provide a fair review. Good: 1. These sound good and get loud. The bass is full without overpowering the vocals. The AirPods Pro do a better job though with vocals, spatial audio, and Dolby Atmos sound. The Beats sound good for movies, podcasts, gaming, and YouTube with no lag. 2. These have a comfortable fit and can be worn for hours without ear fatigue. I was able to workout with these in my ears and they never fell out or needed constant adjustments. 3. These look cool and stylish. I bought the black version and they just blend with my clothes and hats. In pics these earbuds actually look ugly but once you wear them you understand the design choice. 4. We FINALLY have earbuds that work the same for the iPhone and Android phones. I own the iPhone 12 Pro Max and the GS21 Ultra as my business phone. ANC and transparency mode on my AirPods Pro won't work on my GS21 Ultra and ANC and ambient mode won't work on my Galaxy Buds Pro through my iPhone. With Beats earbuds I can use all the features on both phones which is a big deal. Bad: 1. No wireless charging. I prefer to use fast chargers so this isn't a big deal for me but this might be an issue for someone else. 2. ANC, transparency mode, and sound quality are good but not great. You can find better but you will definitely have to spend more money. 3. Call quality is average. I did a FaceTime and regular phone call and we both could hear each other but this is the weakest part of these earbuds. AirPods Pro are the best at this feature by a mile. Bottom line...these earbuds deliver the bass and style while being comfortable enough to wear all day. When I just want to listen to music loud I grab these without hesitation. AirPods Pro are still the best earbuds overall over $200 but the Studio Earbuds are the best under $200.

Quality of product- noise cancellation does not kick in. Dropped off a teams meeting for the inconsistency of picking up calls. Doesn’t transition to car without disconnecting beats.

I have to say. These little buds hurt my ears and I didn’t hear that quality sound for the price on sale for 119.00. I heard no bass or mid range. The direct vocal was good. If you don’t know the difference between quality sound, and cheap mediocre sound then these are for you, Also there is no app to adjust the sound. The design is off to me.

    A Step Above Standard AirPods

I've owned a few pairs of AirPods over the years, but this is my first pair of Beats-branded headphones or earbuds. AirPods have always been a bit difficult to use with non-Apple devices, and Apple appears to be trying to fill that gap with these new Beats Studio Buds. They are missing a few nice features that you'd get with AirPods, but they also offer a great value for the price. PROS: - On iOS devices, the Studio Buds behave much like AirPods. They are recognized by my iPhone as soon as I open the case with a pop-up for instant pairing. You can see the battery percentages of the buds and the case in your notification center and also control the noise cancellation mode through Control Center. The Studio Buds appear in the "Find My" app in case you lose them. You also get Spatial Audio, allowing you to experience the new Dolby Atmos tracks on Apple Music. - The Studio Buds provide the most Apple-like experience to Android users compared to any other Apple or Beats device. They support the new Google Fast Pair standard, so they instantly pair with your Android phone when the case is opened for the first time. There is a dedicated Beats Android app used to adjust noise cancellation settings. - The Studio Buds are surprisingly compact and comfortable. Unlike AirPods, there is no stem that sticks down, and the buds protrude only slightly from my ears. I've worn the Studio Buds for many hours now with the pre-installed medium ear tips and they are very comfortable. After a few minutes, I hardly notice them. I also went on a run with them and they stayed nice and snug in my ears. - I like the fact that both buds have physical buttons to control play/pause, fast-forward/rewind, and noise cancellation/transparency. Both buttons perform the same functions, so there is no need to remember which button to push to perform a certain function. Even better is that these are actual, physical buttons that you press - not touch controls that might not work with sweaty hands. - For the price and size, sound quality is rather impressive. These buds include active noise cancellation, although it seems to be more of an afterthought (more on that below). The Studio Buds have plenty of bass, but I've certainly used other buds that pack more of a "kick." The sound profile overall is very crisp and balanced, with nice separation of mids and highs. - The case charges over USB-C, which will be welcome news to iOS and Android users alike trying to minimize the amount of cables they carry around. CONS: - Beats and Apple make a point of calling these "active noise cancelling" buds, but the noise cancellation is very minimal. I hardly notice a difference when I turn noise cancellation off completely. With it on, I can still hear a lot of ambient noise like typing on a keyboard, traffic noise, and voices. I can't imagine these would do very well on an airplane. On the other hand, "transparency" mode works pretty well and should serve you well for holding quick conversations with the Studio Buds in your ears. - The case does not support wireless charging, something that seems to be somewhat standard in premium wireless earbuds. - Your music or content does not pause when you take the buds out of your ears. This was surprising to me given how Apple is usually very attentive to details like this. - If you have multiple Apple devices, these will not automatically switch over from one to the other when you start playing content. - Microphone performance is poor, at best. People on the other end of my calls reported that I sounded "far away" or that my voice was distorted. In louder areas, the mic pics up a lot of ambient noise. OVERALL: The Beats Studio Buds offer a nice step up from Apple's standard AirPods, especially for Android users. I prefer the design of the Studio Buds to AirPods, but there are some Apple-centric features missing like automatic pausing and device switching. I also found the Studio Buds more comfortable than standard AirPods with a more well-rounded sound profile. Apple users who want the full Apple experience may want to look at the AirPods Pro, but for those who are willing to sacrifice some small features - including Android users - the Beats Studio Buds represent a nice compromise and a good value. Recommended!

Beats by Dr. Dre - Beats Studio Buds Totally Wireless Noise Cancelling Earphones Summery: those buds fall in the same line when it comes to good build quality and Bass biased sound note that you would expect from Beats by Dr. Dre. packaging and case build: the packaging is minimal where you get: - Buds - case - USB type C short cable for charging the case 3 size rubber covers for different ear fits. - user Manual and Beats sticker, as well as 1 month of free music subscription with Apple music. Build quality: The case is very well built, would work without a problem in a side pocket and the matte black color is really nice. the hinge is built well and will withstand a lot of open/ close action. charging and battery life: charging for 5 minutes would give you about 70% battery life and I have used them extensively and got about 19 hours of play time when Active noise control is off. controls: controls are easy almost like any other buds, swipe to control, pause, skip, or answer calls. although I found them to be a little bit more like a press than a touch, and for me it was a good thing. fit in ear: Buds felt super comfortable and I almost forgot about them when i wasn't listening to music when I was wearing them. i was able to do light gym work out without any issues. they did withstand sweat with no issues. ANC: active noise cancelling works great. the difference between ANC on and off is huge. When ANC is on, it does cancel or mute outside noises without having any effect on the quality of the tunes I was listening to. Volume and sound quality: the volume on these is HIGH! i wasn't able to crank it all the way up because they were too loud, but the sound quality is amazing and fits my sound profile. the highs are high, the mid range or vochals are clear as they can be and the bass is heavy. connectivity to phones: After charging them for the first time I opened the case and my Google Pixel 4 immediately recognised them without me touching the phone and offered to download the Beats app from Google store, I downloaded and installed the app and signed on to my beats profile and was able to customize my experience using the app. the app also offers a tutorial on how to use them properly. Comparison to other buds: I have the Google buds 2 and a Sennheiser CX400. the beats by Dre are my favorite and to me they offer the best sound quality at lesser price. these will be my daily drivers for a long time to come.

I liked the color and heard they are loud so I bought them but unfortunately they deserve a 1 star review they do not stay in your ear at all. Even if you use them to simply sit in place they will fall out of your ears and would never recommend for anyone who is active. Battery life does not last either.
