Water resistant?

This happened the very first day i gave to my for a Christmas present. Will return them for the new apple AirPods now .

Stopped working 20 days after receiving them. Was told they were out of the return period. I asked to return and pay the difference for a brand new pair, was told no. Many other options for purchase. Will go elsewhere next time.
