I found the sony and returned these beats. Sony has noticably better transparency mode and the app has an eq which the beats do not. i had the original beats before the plus came out and i can't see that these are much better. still great but not my favorite

She loves them for listening to music etc for working out or leisure, but when she uses them to call me, the sound quality is terrible to the point that I can't understand what she is saying. I expected more for the price.

I decided to splurge and get the beats instead of my usual JBL buds… They hurt my ears so bad and it doesn’t matter what size bud inserts I use, none of them stay put. That’s an unusual issue for me.

The buds charge and hold charge unevenly which is very annoying. On multiple occasions, I've been working out and one of them has died while the other is still at 80-90% charge. Money is better spent elsewhere
