I bought these looking to replace an older set of cans I regularly use due to an international flight I was taking and wanted something with newer ANC tech as I have been reading it is vastly improved. Saw these on sale and thought hey, I really like the Powerbeats Pro 2's I have so figured these would probably be on par with quality and performance for their over the ear headphone offerings. As soon as I put them on I was really disappointed in the fit and comfort of these things but I have experienced worse but for the cost I was thinking they would surpass some of my older $100 headphones in this regard, which they did not. I charged them up and then packed them on on my carryon and off to my flight I went. The sound quality while sitting in the boarding terminal was ok, really nothing special though, once again they were on par with some of my older, much cheaper headphones so I figured the ANC would be were these shined. Sitting in the boarding area they did perform really well in this regard. After my flight had taken off I was looking at 12 hours of flight over the Pacific and imdeiatly was regretting brining these along over my older normal headphones. The ANC while dealing with the airplane inflight was atrocious, my older normal headphones way surpassed them in the ANC category. Fast forward four hours in and the left headhone starting going nuts with a combination of static noises that ranged in frequency and pitch and a slow rhythmic deep thumping that I swear I could almost feel. And thats all she wrote for these. It was more pleasant to not have these on and hear the plane with my unaided ears over using these things. Tried with my laptop and another phone and was the same deal, did figure out that it only happens when in ANC mode or transparency mode. After my trip I took them to the closest Apple store and was told this is a common issue they have been seeing with this headphone, lol I was like no wonder why they were on sale. They took them in, sent them off for "testing" and "repair" but with the turn around I am thinking nothing was tested and they were just swapped out for a different used pair that had already been worked on as I had them back in less than three days but this sets ear pads are all messed up, you can tell they have some miles on them or they really had to do some work to get them off and back on or were replaced with non OEM temu pads or something but they definately dont feel as comfortable as the pads that were sent in with the original headphones and they sure as heck look like they had been taken off and crumpled up and left in someones pockets for a time before being place back on. Sucks, would expect better from Apple. I have only used these about 3 hours since recieveing them back so not enough time has gone by to see if the original issue rears its ugly head again but honestly I dont know if I will reach that point. Im so disgusted with them due to the original pair ruining my flight to now having these that were given back and feel even worse in the comfort zone than the original ones I took in for warranty and those themselves where just meh when it came to comfort. That and even though I bought a brand new pair less than a month ago what I am left with look like they have been through a few second stores now with the condition of the earpads being what they are. I really think I'm just going to toss these in the trash tomorrow and not look to Beats in the future for over the ears headphones.

Decent headphones. Dont get sand color for gym because they will get dirty due to hair products and sweat.

Caught these on sale for around $170. These are some of the best headphones I’ve ever owned. They do well with spatial audio, and the low end frequencies are not as exaggerated as the earlier Beats models. My only suggested improvement would be interoperability with my phone; the microphone could be higher quality. Otherwise I’m satisfied and would purchase again
