Broke after 17 months

The left earcup audibly popped when I was using them for a few hours in a row and now one side is just constant static. They were fine until then.

I will most likley be returning, really wanted to love these.

BestBuy QA is bad - Saved by Apple Care Insurance

The headphones are great now that I have a working pair. I bought an open box pair that said it would be in fine functioning condition for a discounted price. The shipping and delivery was all on time. However, when I used the headphones I could hear a static sound in the left ear. After doing some googling I found out this is a common flaw on these headphones. Luckily I had purchased Apple Care for the headphones. They replaced the headphones for me no problem. They actually sent me headphones and then I had to send back the broken ones, so I wasn't without any headphones. Tip from this is to make sure you get Apple Care. Best Buy supposedly tested these headphones and marked them as good to go.
