Worked ok until recently

Took care of them, used infrequently, mostly while traveling. They worked ok until recently. Static kicks in after some time listening - opposite of "noise canceling". Of course, I did not buy the extended warranty because my philosophy is that corporations should take pride in their manufacturing process and ensure their products last - keeping broken stuff out of landfill. Alas...this is not the case here. Will try to see what it takes to fix them in order to do my part in terms of not "adding to the pile", but I am not hopeful.

I debated between these and earbuds - I have tried earbuds previously and they bothered my ears - glad I went with these! The sale price was awesome!
