Dollar Store Quality.. Luxury Price

This review may sound nitpicky, but compared to the Beats I’ve used in the past, these new models are a joke. I purchased these after using the Beats Solo Pro (an older version) for years, and I was immediately disappointed with the Studio Pro’s quality. The plastic felt cheap, the padding was stiff and uncomfortable, and the buttons had a flimsy feel. Even the way these headphones turn on and off is poorly designed compared to previous, smarter models. Hoping it was just the over-ear design I didn’t like, I decided to try the Beats Solo 4, thinking they’d be similar to my previous Solo Pro. Unfortunately, the quality was just as bad. The padding was even stiffer and noticeably thinner compared to my old Beats, which you can clearly see in the photos. I tried to overlook these issues and give them a fair chance, but they were simply too uncomfortable to keep on. I ended up returning them the next day. The only thing I liked about these headphones was the color. I’ve since switched to Sony and have been very pleased. It’s disappointing that I had to take my business elsewhere, but Beats just isn’t what it used to be.
