They seriously block out all extra noise and they play pretty loud ! I use them for the gym , traveling , and even cleaning around the house ! The sound is clear and the noise cancelling works great (he never hears me calling him while he has them on... a mother's dream...lol). Beats hasn't failed our family and these are no exception!

Battery life is excellent. And they are plenty loud. Would have liked to see a little more metal on them for the price. But if taken care of they should be good.
