Great value when on sale

For the audio, which most people are concerned about, they are bass heavy, but everyone already knows that about Beats headphones. That's okay with me, because I'm mainly using them for their noise cancelling. Worked well on a long airplane trip - not like Bose or Sony, but much better than not having anything. They also work well in my workshop, where I'm using really loud tools like table saws and routers, and while on my lawn mower. Work better than the old "ear muffs" noise suppressors.

Decent set of headphones

I ran them through their paces and believe that the construction is pretty solid. I’m guessing a lot of these headphones were broken by young children who just ripped them off their heads and tossed them in a bag. I think if they are treated with respect they should hold up fairly decent. My only negative is that they do not have the same deep base response as the older generation of beats when using Bluetooth. The acoustic noise cancellation works pretty good but it does not completely quiet a room like you are standing in a studio chamber. But you can definitely tell it is working. Wireless connectivity seems to be fairly decent with an iPad and iPhone. The spatial audio feature when playing a source that is encoded correctly is very believable. It does a very good job of creating a 360° environment of audio.
