I have some jaybird freedoms who in my opinion sound better than the beats. The build quality on the beats is good but the sound doesn't quite convince me. It lacks some bass and although you can hear some instruments better than with other headphones it just doesn't have enough pop for me. I use them in the gym and they have treated me fine, honestly though if you like deep bass id go with something else.
