Awesome -- and unexpected!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I assumed these would be awesome -- what I didn't anticipate is the ability to connect via a cord...so that when I'm traveling I can connect the headphones to the airline's system to watch and listen to their programming. In other words, these are great headphones with BOTH a cord AND a Bluetooth option. I dig them a lot.

Great Sound, Great Product

Boy was I wrong. When this set went on sale, I thought, why not? This set is totally worth the full price, even though it is last years model. Great sound and you don't hear anything outside. I am happy with these headphones.

Nice Improvement for Beats

I love the glossy gunmetal finish and the subtle flag colors on the headphones. This may be a little loud for some people so maybe you want to buy a skin or something. In regards to sound, you better like bass. Beats are often criticized for having horrible sound in the class. Let's be clear, these are not reference headphones. I wouldn't pay retail for these, but -$50 to -$100 I definitely think they are in a good price range. You are paying for sound profile + design. Beats are tuned for exaggerated Bass. I have Studio 2.0 Wired and these sound slightly better for some reason. I think they bumped up the mids and trebles a little bit. Noise cancelling (while not Bose level) is still very good. I brought these on a 12 hour plane ride and they more than did the job.
