Great sound. Poor longevity... didn’t last a year. Not great for workouts due to sweat.

At that price, the Beats studio is simply not up to par with its closest competitor such as the Bose Quiet Comfort 35 or Quiet Comfort 25 for that matter. It didn't offer that same level; a lot of noise still filters through. In addition, the headphones themselves make a low purring noise which defeats the whole purpose of noise cancellation. I had to exchange them for a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort 35 for an extra $100. Those are sweet! They can put you in a trance.

I assume most people purchasing Apple products and high end audio equipment is not that concerned about price. I have had B&W P7 and Band and Ol H6. The BandW sound better slightly but are heaving and aren't wireless. I was a snob and wouldn't be caught dead wearing head phone are by Dr. Dre, but have realized over the recent months that they are hight quality. To seal the deal.. Apple buying the company is indisputable proof that they are the best head phones on the market. They are stylish and even come in different colors to match your choice of clothing for the day. Lebron has made them an accessory to his wardrobe. I have only had them or a couple days but fell great about my purchase. I also have the 99.99 ear buds that are excellent.

After full charge I used them. In between songs I could hear a pulse like sound which was really annoying. I'm going to return them for a new pair!

The noice canceling is not working good compared to Bose QC series. I suggest to buy Bose if you care about the noise canceling performance.
